I know that Oasis don't get the deserved recognition here but really this is a band that has provided some of the most memorable and meaningful tunes of the last two decades.
A fellow intellectual friend once pointed out to me as we walked the yellow brick road, that a peerless song, is one that ''grabs you by the bollocks, slaps you in the face, strikes you in the heart and touches your soul." How true he was.
So it is with Oasis, propelled by the seldom (self) praised songwriter Noel Gallagher, who have captivated an audience ranging from the man in the dole office to whiter collar worker.
The smile inducing quality of Master Noel musical work is something that I don't think is appreciated on this forum enough.
Indeed I feel that most people here don't understand the real oasis, especially people from outside the British Isles. Trust me I am an authority on such matters and ye all are but mere students who should not question this magnificently,thrice re-drafted post.
