... if the song had been written by Radiohead. Yeah, I know what would happen, the music press and the toffs would be creaming themselves over the song, claiming it to be the greatest song ever written.
I also have this idea that if songs like Who Feels Love? were written by that freak Thom Yorke and his gang, then it would gain widespread approval. I mean, come on, Radiohead are responsible for some atrocious lyrics, and as Robert Plant pointed out, it's just 'rhyming crap'.
Anyway, Falling Down is the best Noel sung song since The Masterplan. It's absolutely brilliant.
Also, just a big thanks to all on this website for giving me songs to download that I've found impossible to find until now. I can now enjoy Whatever, Let's All Make Believe, BWTB and WPTWOTWOMS on my iPod.

As brilliant as Noels song are, 99% of them are the definition of 'ryhming crap'. What a misguided view. Live Forever, Slide Away, Cigs and Alcohol, Married With Children, Up in the Sky, Hello, Cast No Shadow, Don't Go Away, I Hope I Think I Know, It's Getting Better (Man), Gas Panic, Where Did It All Go Wrong, Sunday Morning Call, Who Feels Love, The Hindu Times, Stop Crying Your Heart Out, Song Bird, Born on a Different Cloud, She Is Love, Mucky Fingers, The Importance of Being Idle, Guess God Thinks I'm Abel, Part of the Queue, Keep the Dream Alive, A Bell Will Ring, Let There Be Love, The Turning, Waiting for the Rapture, I'm Outta Time, Bag It Up, Masterplan, Acquiesce, Rockin Chair, Listen Up, Fade Away, Idler's Dream, Going Nowhere, Half the World Away, Talk Tonight, Who Put the Weight of the World on my Shoulder, Lets All Make Believe, Just Getting Older, Flashbax, Sad Song.... You should either review the Oasis songs and adjust your opinion accordingly or go back to 3rd grade math and learn that all those songs listed above render your 99% judgment way off base. In fact, the Oasis rhyming jibberish songs are in the minority. No idea what you, or others who claim Oasis songs have no meaning or whatever, are on about.

Muncky fingers its meaning less the rest are fine Then you don't understand the lyrics! It's basically an anti-war song (anti-Iraq war), and it's cleverly written too bad it's dull as fuck though haha

NL4E has a stupid habout of forming his own instant opinions about what Noel was "thinking" at the time or what a particular song "means", and then lambasting other people who don't agree with him.

Agree totally with your first point, but Who Feels Love? No way. It's sub-Beatles wannabe Harrison psychedelia that goes on too long. Even if Radiohead had done it it would've been greeted with a big critical "meh".

You numpties. "The sprinkling of new songs boded well for the imminent Don't Believe the Truth album. Best was Mucky Fingers, sung by Noel, a driven piece of punk psychedelia apparently offering pithy protest on Iraq." www.telegraph.co.uk/culture/music/3641919/Never-mind-the-students.htmlAnd the lyrics fit the interpretation. But hey, if you want to continue being naive and ignorant go right ahead.

They're far from. So go fuck yourself. Hard. Up the backside. With a sharp knife And don't ever quote someone elses opinions as fact either, it makes you look stupid.
