P.S. If you lot vote Viva La Vida as the worst album of the year, then you lot are sad deluded individuals. It's easily one of the best, and if you vote for that instead of Scouting For Girls, then you seriously should kill yourself. I couldn't give a fuck if Coldplay are uncool - but NME think its cool to jump on the Uncool Bandwagon - and the fact that Oasis are somehow nominated for worst band shows what fucktards NME are. Still, got to vote for the lads to give them recognition.

Fuck off. Viva La Vida is easily the worst album of the year. People who think it's one of the best clearly need to widen their horizon.
Viva La Vida is a pile of overhyped rubbish and I can't believe it's made by the same band that crafted Parachutes.

Bad argument to use when on an Oasis forum, but yes VLV is utter pish. They tried to be too clever and failed, and when you try to force something to work, you end up with a HC or a VLV, but when it flows naturally you get a DM or AROBTTH..... |

It's easily the worst compared to how big the band is. If they were finding the genuine worst album of the year (which is impossible really, who's to judge?) the line-up would be full of bands/artists no ones ever heard of. |

It's hypocritical of Satriani to sue Coldplay as many of his songs plagiarise other songs. He's just doing it cos he's got no money left, perhaps because he's a talentless twat. Plus, the fact that he threatened to get his lawyers to issue a law suit in front of Coldplay at the Grammy's is just disgraceful. Also, I don't believe Coldplay copied him - they are honest, modest guys, and when they say they didn't plagiarise, I believe them. For example, their 2005 song Talk took samples of a Kraftwerk song, but asked permission. I can't understand why they wouldn't do that to Satriani. |
