The boys were back in Copenhagen playing their 2nd gig in 2 months. I´d hoped for a switch or two in the setlist, since they´ve just recently played here. But the setlist was just the same, which to me was kinda disappointing. However, that was to be the only negative thing about their return to Copenhagen.
Liam seemed to be on fire tonight. In my opinion he nailed each end every song, spot on! He didnt do that thing where he pulls his head from the mic to breathe, or whatever he intends to do, during the last part of the lyrics. He sounded almost like in the good old days.
Morning Glory, Slide Away, Outta Time, Supersonic, Cigs & Alcohol, Champagne Supernova, TSOTL and Masterplan, where my highlights tonight. In fact, there was only one minor letdown. The music was too loud during Falling Down - could´nt hear a word of Noels singing. Which kinda also was a problem with one my DOYS-fav´s - Wating For The Rapture. But I can live with that, when they perform the way they did. It was awesome!
No alot of action on the stage - as we are used to. Liam made a few comments from time to time. At one point a dude in the crowd, sat on a mates shoulders. When Liam saw that, he made the "wanker-gesture" with his hand, and pointed his finger down, to say "get the fuck down". The dude was too afraid not to do as Liam ordered.
At one point Noel had some sort of a technical problem, which really took only about a minute to fix - but Liam couldnt let it pas without a comment when he stated "where I come from, thats called timewasting". Clearly mocking Noel and the technicians.
At the end of the gig, Liam said "this is the last song, before WE let YOU out".
He added a few more comments, but hey, that mancunian accent is hard to understand sometimes. Im a, after all, danish. So forgive me for poor spelling, or bad choice of words.
Cheers...

Yeah, another fantastic gig in Copenhagen by Oasis. I thought Liams voice was great when they last visited a couple of months ago, but fuck me it was even better last night. As usual Liam didn't seem happy with the sound but I guess this is just Liam being Liam. And Liam was Liam - powerful singing and great attitude. And even carefully asking the crowd two or three times "Are ya' all right?".
I am also a little bit dissapointed that they played the exactly same setlist as last time, but hey it's a great set!
The other guys were great. Sharrock is so energic on the drums - givin it all. Gem is so good on the guitar, specially the solos on Outta time and Don't look back in anger were amazing! Andy smiled a lot more than I have seen before - guess he just had a great night like the rest of us. And the chief... as usual great voice but I'm sad that he didn't interact with the crowd more. But it was great when he let us sing the chorus in Don't look back in anger.
The crowd was great I think. I was at the front, like you should be to a Oasis concert. People went bananas when Cigarettes and Alcohol was played and the energy kept up through most of the show.
My highligts were Slide Away, Morning Glory, Outta time, Don't look back in anger and Champagne Supernova.

Chris dropped a drumstick in the Morning Glory intro after giving the floor toms a proper beating! He was all over the place. Gem was on fire too. Great band. Noels vocals were far too low in Falling Down as you said.

A cant play any instruments - but fuck me, it looks awesome the Chris Sharrock play the drums. He does some magic with the sticks while in the air, looks pretty cool! And yeah - Gem´s effort with the guitar was also pretty cool. Anyway - so far they´ve received some good reviews from a few danish sites I´ve checked. Something like 4/6 stars. Only thing keeping them from receive a better score, is the fact that oasis didnt play songs like Live Forever, or Some Might Say. You know - some of the good ol´songs. Someone even wrote its a shame that the band leave out songs from Be Here Now, and the much underrated SOTSOG. And I completely agree, since I really dig SOTSOG. Most of it, that is...

Yeah, messenjah I have read the same reviews as you - but 4/6 in danish newspapers are very good as they always seem to give Oasis 3/6. And, surprisingly, I agree with a lot of the reviewers. They al seem to praise Liam (finally!).

Funny that you mention it - a danish paper said that the venue was almost like a market, cos of the hotdog-stands and stuff like that inside Forum.
But thats how it is Denmark. A british mate of mine is still in shock after he found out that you can buy popcorn and hot cocoa, when attenting a football-match.
