DOYS has sold 116,000 in America compared to the 200,000 DBTT sold, the 154,000 HC sold, and the 208,000 SOTSOG sold. For the there to be only two singles off the album and maybe two more to follow and with the large decrease in cd sales in general, I think DOYS has been a massive success for Oasis. I know in Chicago there have been a lot people talking about them and who are really excited about them. Many of the people are teens. I know at Lane Tech which is the biggest High School in Illinois with 4,700 kids there has been a significant increase of people who are starting to hear about them and like their music.

I'd say it can hit at least 150-200 with CD sales in the state they are and Oasis' own popularity in America.

It's as if all the increased promotion (really not that much) really didn't make much of a difference in how the album sold.

To be fair, with the appalling promotion that Oasis got for DOYS that's very reasonable. TSOTL got okay airplay, but that's the extent of the promotion

CD Sales in general are down. I wouldn't worry too much.
