get someone else to download windows defender, then use a flash drive to get it to his PC, then run it from there. that should clear the problems in IE.

I work in the IT World and we have been seeing these viruses (malware) like crazy lately. Windows Defender and the usual means haven't been resolving all of the issues. It may work for this one seeing as they have all been pretty different. If you still can't get it removed, try downloading a program called Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware. It has worked like a champ for me on many occasions already. Good luck!

I find Superantispyware to be the best... www.superantispyware.com/Picks up tons of crap which other ones seem to miss. Since i've installed this my computers been fine. Also click start then run and type in 'msconfig' and enter Click on the startup tab You often see some weird stuff here which is set to run everytime you boot windows. If something looks very very bad then uncheck it. Make sure its not a vital program, eg soundcard type of thing. A fair few trojan thingies look like xxxyyyzzzzz.dll etc, (just a weird name)
