I tried to pick what I would deem to be the main contenders, but of course I left off many other bands (Kooks, Hard Fi, The Streets, The Editors, The Twang, The Enemy, The Pigeon Detectives, Kings of Leon, Bloc Party...... Hence the "Other" option
If "Other" specify who.
That's a hard list, if I must say so. You got the lyrical genius with Arctic Monkeys, and the Libertines. You have the big anthem sound of Glasvegas. The unique aspect of Arcade Fire. The passion and energy of Kasabian. The popiness of the Killers. And the great vocals of Chris Martin from Coldplay (although perhaps their previous 2 albums render them not worthy?)
I might have to go with Libertines, but I'm gonna hold off voting for right now.

Obviously that list misses a lot of less popular bands, but I commend you Live4evr for having come up with a good composite list.
I have to go Kasabian cos I'm honestly not a big fan of many of the other artists on there.

Kasabian.
I got tired of Arctic Monkeys quickly. It's Alex Turner's voice that irks me.

Arctic Monkeys are great but you guys are fucking stupid saying them IMO. Their catalog is not close to large enough to put them in front of Coldplay, The Strokes, and Muse.

eh the strokes have a classic debut solid follow up and shit third though. The first two arctic monkeys have been pretty good. But because they and kasabian will releasing new albums i think some things might change in my ranks but i think Coldplay's first two albums are hard to beat from the rest of the bands. Both of those albums are great but who can forget Doves probably one of the most constant bands out there probably releasing their 4th album this year so i'm gonna hold off till the end of this year.
