For those of you who remember Noel mentioning that M. Ward's album "Post-War" was one of the best he'd ever heard, M. Ward is releasing his first album since, called "Hold Time" in February. NPR is currently streaming the whole thing on their website for free: www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=99084694PS: It's awesome.

I've got tickets to see his first show of the tour in Boston. I saw him with She & Him last summer, and they were great.

I like his work with Zooey Deschanel, it really brings out her talent.

it's too retro for me. I have to be in the mood to listen to it, if that makes any sense ;D
I love "Why do you let me stay here" and "I was made for you", though. and the video for the first one is adorable ;D

New album is great. I love the cover of Rave On. For those that liked Post War, pick this one up. All of his output has been so constantly good its hard to pick favorites.

Saw him live last week in Somerville, and holy shit does he put on a great show. He goes back and forth between great band leader and acoustic genius. If you get a chance to get tickets, do it because his shows are selling out all over the place.
