www.nowmagazine.co.uk/blogs/sex-and-style/297512/you-and-i-are-gonna-live-forever/1/You and I are Gonna Live Forever: In memory of Brenden Sheehy Historically, super-sexy, scissor wielding, celebrity hairdressers have caused me a lot of heartache, and Brendan Sheehy was no different. Originally from Oldham just outside Manchester, Brendan attended St Augustine of Canterbury Roman Catholic High School with Mark Owen from Take That, who became his first celebrity client, then went on to coiff rock royalty including Liam and Noel Gallagher. I should be telling you he shot to stardom as a session stylist in New York, for the last 10 years, his one-off brand of fast-living, hell-raising, hard-rocking hairdressing set style trends on both sides of the Atlantic, and he’s just done the hair in the new Oasis video for band's next single Falling Down. But instead, I got a call at the weekend telling me, “Brendan’s dead.” He was 35. We’re burying him on Thursday. And may God let us meet again. -------------------- also, www.factoryfilms.net/factory.php03/12/2008 "also to be posted is WIZ's new video for Oasis "Falling Down", again we're waiting for the exclusive to happen first. But as soon as it hits, it'll be up"

There's a depressing predictability about Oasis at the moment.
The formula seems to be:
Single one: Up-tempo rocker (Go Let It Out, Hindu Times, Lyla, Shock of the Lightning)
Singles two and three: Ballad and Noel song (Sunday Morning Call, SCYHO, Little By Little, Songbird, Importance of Being Idle, Let There Be Love, Falling Down).
No doubt there'll be some shit remixes on there too just for good measure.

Why do they even bother - it'll do fuck all. They should have launched the video when they released the Chemical Bros remix and the actual album version on iTunes.

I think these could be a great test for us. If theyll give new bsides and promote the song and video - great, they learnt their lesson. If we'll get remixes & demos, and wont see no promotion on the INTERNET - crap, their so unconnected with the fans & the market...

Yeah, I agee the Heathen Chemisrty & DBTT DVD singles were great. Poor show for single content & promo on this Album though. Falling Down could do well though, based on it being a top tune!

It'll go fuckin' nowhere, now that no one buys CD singles I can't see Oasis getting a number 1 ever again. No ones gonna download it either cause all the kids would rather be downloading shit like Ne-Yo and Kanye West. Sorry to say but its true.

I think it's a great choice for a single.
I doubt if it will get to number 1 but it should get them noticed and they won't be acused of re hashing old rock n roll and Beatles tunes.
It is one of the best tracks of DOYS and the most experimental.
It is also perfect for what has happened to the World in the last few months
If you look at the financial crisis, all the job cuts, the major recession (some say Depression) and wanted to write a song about it then Falling Down fits the bill.
It should resonate with people
summer sun that blows my mind is falling down on all that i've ever known time will kiss the world goodbye we're falling down on all that i've ever known is all that i've ever known a dying scream makes no sound calling out to all that i've ever known here am i lost and found, calling out to all
we live a dying dream if you know what i mean and all that i've ever known it's all that i've ever known
catch the wheel that breaks the butterfly i cry the rain that fills the ocean wide i tried to talk with god to no avail i call him up in and out of nowhere said if you won't save me please don't waste my time
all that i've ever known is all that i've ever known
catch the wheel that breaks the butterfly i cry the rain that fills the ocean wide i tried to talk with god to no avail i call him up in and out of nowhere said if you won't save me please don't waste my time
a summer sun it blows my mind it's fallin' down on all that i've ever known time to kiss the world goodbye falling down on all that i've ever known is all that i've ever known

Remixes and demos...unfortunately. Don't forget we still haven't seen the official release of the Liam-sung LDSMD I doubt we'll ever see it... I guess Liam recorded that demo and the band thought that Noel sang better the tune ans that's it... i bet they do it for a lot of Noel-sung tunes...

FUCK MEDITATION . .Amorphous to remix OASIS and DJ at Wembley instead ! Humeur actuelle : imposant Well for those that are bored with us banging on about Oasis, things just got definitely maybe decidedly worse . . . Noel Gallagher rang in to the Automobile Association headquarters personally today and what a thoroughly nice chap HE IS TOO!!! He wants us to remix the next Oasis single ' Falling Down ' from " Dig Your Own Soul" giving us carte-blanche to do what the f*** we want" . . . . just make it worthy " we repeat "WORTHY" !!!! to fit into "A MONSTROUS PSYCHEDELIC BUBBLE EXPLODING IN YOUR MIND " was his mandate. What a wonderfully humble thing to say . . . . For those that DON"T KNOW the above mentioned MONSTROUS BUBBLY THINGY he's alluding to, it's our 44 track DJ mix compendium of brain frying food that we compiled and mixed and which was released in Dec just gone and which has been getting some heat among the icicles. It seems from the conversation that one of his party has visited fsoldigital. com and downloaded ALL 8 of the radio MONSTROUS BUBBLES from 1997-2006 and they've all been rightfully freaking out at the mash-up that constitutes the psychedelic manifesto of the AA . . . . If you also remember we're running a competition for a free copy of A MONSTROUS PSYCHEDELIC BUBBLE. The question IS " Noel Gallagher has personally bought ten copies of Monstrous for Xmas presents, who do you think they are for " The funniest/ most absurd or most enlightened answer WINS !!! Seeing as we're now bestest mates with Noel(ly )we thought we'd get him to judge the answers himself so we'll see which one hits the mark with the man himself .To enter this competition . . . . . . . .look at one of the blogs below this one :http://blogs. myspace. com/index. cfm?fuseaction=blog. view&friendID=81687075&blogID=457188908 We can further reveal from today's conversation that 2 of the 10 went to Paul Weller and the geezer in Kasabian who looks like " one of your lot" says Noel . . . . . . apparently Paul Weller is seriously blown away by Monstrous too . . . .so it seems the psychedelic re-evolution as presaged by us for the last decade is almost upon us . . . . aaaHHHH . . . . . . . to get your hands on Monstrous without being absurd ( or any of the last ten years of MONSTROUS BUBBLE radio broadcasts for ridiculously low sums of currency in relation to the rate of psychedelic inflation! ) visit : fsoldigital. com by clicking on this here EXPLODING HEAD . . . .

I've bought every Oasis single, back in the day before the internet you obviously had to buy the singles.
Despite the internet arriving i still bought the singles, like the collection of full albums/singles i have. Dont buy singles for any other group
