Everytime i try to open Windows messenger, this comes up;
C:\Program Files\Logitech\SetPoint\SetPoint.exe The application has failed to start because its side-by-side configuration is incorrect. Please see the application event log for more details.
can someone help me with this problem so i can get back on messenger? im on windows vista.

try re-downloading/installing msn/live messenger again, this sounds a very weird problem, the setpoint.exe is used for some logitech keyboards and mouse - sound familiar? or you could try going to c:/program files/live/messenger - and try running it from there- i think thats the right address, and think that only works on the live messenger, not any of the older versions...

kill the process and try connecting again or remove it from startup, restart and try using messenger
