Yeah, barred chords are so distinct and creative. Way more creative than an incredible session guitarist who has written great songs. Let's just face it Oasis sounded 100 times better with Gem, Andy, and Chris. Tony could barely drum, boneheads skills were incredibly basic, and Guigsy basically just played the first string(except for a few exceptions). Once Noel had the recognition and money to get better musicians, he did. End of story. All the best Oasis gigs were in the 90s. That says enough. Wembley 2000, Glasgow Barrowlands 2001, and Finsbury Park 2002 would like to have a word. After that, Liam's voice went away for about 15 years, but the band got progressively better musically throughout the 2000s.

Nostalgia has badly clouded the judgement of bonehead voters.

I love Gemmy Bear.
Met him just before a Beady Eye gig in Philadelphia in 2011 (or 2012?). Got a picture, but I blinked. Bugger. Still, what a moment! The geezer is effortlessly and genuinely cool.

I love Bonehead—I've met him and he's such a lovely guy—but in my mind, Gem was the better fit for the band musically. He was able to add so much more to the band's sound.
