Golly...drunk on Xmas eve by myself....thinking hard about Oasis...enjoying this great site the good people who run it have set up.... What is your absolute favorite song on the album??? I'd have to say its between WFTR and I'm outta Time..... I know the beginning is definitely a Doors song..b.ut WFTR is awesome. Trying not to figure out the words at the end so I can make up my own.... but...good stuff... WFTR? any0one??? I like bag it up better than The Turning. To Be Where There's Life is the best a non-Gallagher has e3ver contributed. Very worthy of thought as the best song on the album. If TNOR was less of a Helter Skelter rip-off, it might get some votes...but... WFTR??? who's down?

To Be Where There's Life contains possibly the greatest Oasis "moment" on record. When the band crashes in with Liam and Noel singing "Dig out your soul, 'cause here we go" is just...words don't suffice.
That song could end wars. There should be Gem Archer statues in various cities around the world just for To Be Where There's Life, A Bell Will Ring and Eyeball Tickler.

I wasn't keen on Waiting for the Rapture until I heard it live, but I totally changed my view on it after that. I still think Falling Down is my favourite, but WFTR is a close second.

Still love love love The Turning.
But then there's Falling Down, Bag It Up, Shock of the Lightning, I'm Outta Time, Waiting for the Rapture, and To Be Where There's Life all in 2nd place.....what a great album!

Hmm tough to say. I'd probably say Bag It Up at the moment but it's gone through phases. First it was TSOTL then IOT, then Soldier On and WFTR and now BIU. Even High Horse Lady has somewhat grown on me so I don't completely hate it (its still pretty shite though)
This album won't go down as masterpeice like the first 3 albums but I definitely think it's the strongest of the last 4.

I also absolutely love the twiggy remix of I'm outta time. It's more of a rock song
