is it just me or has liams last few gigs in america. MSG in particular his voice was really good, he managed not to butcher songs such as lyla those jogging sessions seem to be paying dividence now, hopefully he can improve just that bit more and be a little less nasal and i'd be perfectly happy with that, he'll never sing like he did in his youth and he is getting older and his been smoking since he was a kid hence his breathing problems

I would have to agree. He actually stayed with a lot of the notes on Slide Away too, instead of backing off the mike. I was impressed. Still can't hit those high notes on I'm outta time though. I stood there squinting my eyes and cringing through that one, waiting to see if he was going to be able to hit them. Managed to snare a couple of 'em, but some not so much.

He always fucks over the last 2 chorus' of IOT, you know how the vocals over laps on the album -- he hasn't managed to compensate for that live Other than IOT, he was awesome on Friday. I was expecting the worse from him, but got a nice surprise.

At the palace he was hitting all of the notes. Sometimes he wouldn't hold notes though. Particularly on songs like slide away

in DC he did great just Lyla was the only one that he didn't do amazing on. IOT, SA, and MG sounded amazing.

Is he still backing away from the mic at the end of each line? That's what pisses me off this about his current singing, he actually sounds a lot better than 2006 but he doesn't seem to be able to hold a note anymore. Instead of "sunsheeeeeine" we get "sunshi..."

LIAM is the MAN!

Too busy singing to take notes on his voice, makes for a better gig that way.
