My first oasis show ever. IT WAS FUCKING AWESOME!!!!!! Never in my life have I had such a time. Just went mental when I was there. Shouted my lungs out and then some. Couldn't hear well for a while after the show. Just a perfect show. Band were on top form IMO.
Though I agree on the crowd. Was mega ticked I was one of the few people just going nuts during the gig. Did catch liam's TSOTL mistake (thought for a second they would restart the song). Band was just having it. Highlights? The whole concert to me. Was just awesome.

Gem and Noel were cracking up on stage when Liam flubbed the lines on TSOTL...Very amusing.

I was thrilled the boys seemed in good spirits. I was afraid they wouldn't say anything to the crowd all night long like had been reported from other gigs on this tour but they were both funny and interacted with the crowd quite a bit more then I expected. Especially Liam, I'm happy he seemed to be in a good mood. Guess he was happy to be heading home for the holiday.

My couple quick notes.
Liam grabbing Noel's ass one time while he walked past him at one point to talk to the sound guy.
Liam messing up TSOTL lyrics, then apologizing for it.
Noel telling Washington they're no longer the murder capital of the world.
Noel said they call the keyboardist "The Shroud", after the Shroud of Turin. (ie, Jesus).
I swear, and nobody is going to talk me out of it, that one of the lines Noel sung in the Importance of Being Idle, he changed the lyrics to "And lots of girls to bed beneath the stars that shine.", or something like that.
Someone tossed a pack of cigarettes at Liam during Cigarettes and Alcohol. Not menacingly, just like they were offering him a smoke. He didn't light one.
Even saw Noel smile at one point during DLBIA. Don't see him smile much on stage, the old miserable bastard. He came out at the end after the encore, too, and gave thanks to the crowd.
People leaving before the encore missed both DLBIA and CS, which, frankly, made the concert. And the blistering newer version of IATW.
Liam was giving his all. He kinda yells into the mic, cuts off a bit, but he was definitely leaving everything he had out there, IMO.
My left ear is still ringing a bit, but it's better than last night about this time. And I've gotten past worrying about how it looks like the rest of the crowd is getting on. We were in a pretty low key section over in 3, but I think we enjoyed ourselves. I did. Last saw them at Merriweather and Festival Pier a few years ago.

pretty quality show, too bad it wasn't GA...the crowd was a little lame, some loser got angry at me and my friends because we were jumping up and down and singing and having a great time and I guess we brushed into him a couple times, but you have to expect that when you go to a rock n roll show... What section were you in? There was an obnoxiously drunk individual wearing sunglasses and a north face jacket slamming people in the head jumping up and down and shouting "OASIS" in between every song at the top of his lungs. That wouldn't happen to have been you, would it? well, I wasn't wearing sunglasses or a north face, but I was a little drunk and I did chant oasis with some people around me during the encore

This was my third Oasis show of the tour and I have to agree the crowd was really shit. As I was telling my friend, the whole point of going to an Oasis show is to sing along, those are the kinds of songs that no one writes better than Noel! This certainly isn't the symphony. I didn't have any problems though, I was belting it out in my section. Also, they cut off beer sales at 9:20, right after Oasis went on. What a poorly run operation. A couple of other comments: 1) Don't Look Back in Anger and Supersonic were the highlights for me. DLBIA especially, with the crowd singing the chorus. That was magic. 2) Liam fucked up some lyrics and Noel is really settling into this old-man phase, he is crouched over the entire concert and looks absolutely miserable 3) Gem is entertaining but Andy looks even more miserable than Noel. 4) Chris Sharrock rocks the house 5) Liam's voice is no longer mesmerizing, sometimes it is even cringeworthy (trying to the high notes on I'm outta time)
Overall awesome show, and Lyla has really sealed it's place as a live staple. Can't help but jump up and down when that comes on!

When I read that, I just had to look up that gig when he fucked up. Haha, you can tell something was wrong when Noel backed up and looked at him.

Just wanted to chime in on the positive comments on this show. This was my third time seeing oasis and they were amazing. The crowd was pretty dull but that's no fault of the band. Noel and Liam both seemed to be enjoying themselves and obviously were in full conrtol the whole time; they sounded great. The new drummer is pretty impressive. The comments from Noel and Liam were classic Oasis and really showed the trademark swagger of the band.
The mood of the night for me was summed up when at the end of Liam's singing duties in "I am the walrus" he spent a few minutes striking iconic poses, walked over to Noel, gave him kind of an approving pat on the back. Noel nodded and Liam walked off shaking hands and hugging people on the side of the stage; a very feel-good atmosphere from the often cold brits. A great show from a band that is clearly still on top of their game.
Long live oasis!

At around 1:22 you can see Noel glance over at Gem. Gem very nearly fell over laughing...

Last saw them at Merriweather and Festival Pier a few years ago. Very nicely said. When did Liam apologize for the lyric mess up? and when did he grab Noel's arse? also, he said something about Christmas before TSOTL. What was it? and ah he said murder capital? thought it was 'world capital'. He also said something about white house? did he not? To me as well the Supersonic song sealed the deal. Especially the line "can I ride with you in your BMW" always hits a soft spot.

I have to say i didnt think it was a great show. they didnt sound great. was anyone else disappointed? i was disappointed with my tickets. i was in 109 and nobody was standing except me and one other guy. i felt dumb but i didnt really care. how come i got crap tickets and bought them in the pre-sale? i should have waited for the regular on-sale. I'm afraid you're the first one I've come across who has had a negative opinion about the show.

My god, Shock Of The Lightning sounds horrific when they play it live. Liam's flat, all the way through it, every time.
