After reading the latest edition of Tales from the Middle of Nowhere by Noel, I got the impression that Liam has his own bus. Noel tells a bus broke down on the highway and he had to move to "Romeo Dred's bus". I assumed if Noel's "reggae nickname" is "General Dred", then Liam's could be "Romeo Dred". I knew Liam had a separate dressing room and all, but that was still understandable. The fact that he travels in his own bus is slightly weird, I think. Why? Does he have to be around his brother all the time? I don't find it weird and I'm sure if I had to travel with someone in my family I wouldn't want to have to be around them 24/7 in a tiny, cramped space..

Yes, Romeo Dread is Liam. And I didn't realize they traveled in separate buses - but to be fair I think there's two buses they use (prob. need two considering the amount of people who go with them). It's prob. not really "Liam's private bus", but Liam would prob. choose to go on one and Noel on the other.

Cant remember where I seen it, but there was an interview with Liam a few months ago - around the start of the UK tour. He was asked what it was like on the tour bus and he said he has his own Range Rover and travels in that.
Presumed he meant chauffeured around in one although he did imply he drove it himself. It was a serious comment as well and not one of the jokey interviews.

A tour bus isn't that big that it could comfortably house all of them so it's logical that they have two. Going by that it's pretty obvious that they would not want to be together on the same one.

What I meant was the weird thing in this is that if the "line-up" of the one bus is Noel, Andy, Gem and Chris whilst Liam is the only band member in the other bus. But maybe that isn't so... Maybe for example Andy is in Liam's bus all the time. Who knows..? |

Yeah, well that's what I was trying to get at. I mean, if they are going to need to carry tons of people around as it is, it shouldn't make a big deal if they separate the band a bit. Unless it's Liam in one bus and everyone else in the other. That's just strange

They way it works is like this; Theres usually two buses. One for the "artist" the band and the other for the crew, roadies etc etc. Ive been inside quite a few new state of the art tour buses and their fuckin huge 5-8 folks can travell in them comfortably. IMO, all the comments Liam makes that him and Noel are "cool", "love eachother", "get on alright" is sarcasm and bs. If any of you have noticed on stage theres absolutely very verry little to zero interaction between the two on stage. I think whatevers going on between them in their private life is the cause of Mr. GD and RD traveling in sep. buses....

Guys , have you ever been on a tour bus for more than a few minutes I got to travel on one for a week with a band shooting a documentary for MTV it sucked , really tight and no room to move around if its more than 5 peeps was glad we stayed at hotels , the bunk beds looked small  |

In their prime they were always slagging each other off, but in a love/hate kind of way. Now I think they're just indifferent towards each other. |

Just because they're brothers doesn't mean they have to do everything together, and just because they don't do things together doesn't mean they hate each other.
I know sometimes when I go somewhere with my siblings on the bus or whatever I barely talk to them. Doesn't mean we don't get along, just get on better with our own friends.

I remember seeing a Noel interview where he stated that Liam has his own dressing room while the other members of the band are in another, so this doesn't surprise me. I personally don't care though
