A 4 hour drive to see the boys last night but totally worth it. Ryan Adams set was much different than his previous outing from the Ottawa show in September. Seemed edgier maybe. Dunno. From what I can remember I liked it.
The set list last night was pretty much the same it's been. Rock n Roll star started a little sluggish but the crowd was mental and it seemed to pick up the band. Liam was hitting the notes well last night. Slide away, I'm outta time & I am the walrus all sounded spot on. Having seen Liam before on an off night it was wonderful to hear the songs done so well. Not a total sell out but you wouldn't know it from crowd reaction - such pop in a smaller venue i've not heard in a while. Maybe that's why the Brothers were in such fine form. Noel & Liam were cordial and seemed to genuinely be having a good time.
Wonderful show.

I was there... it was my first Oasis show and I definitely was not disappointed. The highlight of the show for me was Slide Away, Supernova, and I Am The Walrus. The new songs were very good too. It was one of the bigger concerts I've been to, the venue was perfect in my eyes. It was big enough to feel like the gig meant something, but small enough that it felt intimate and you were able to see.
I could do without Ryan Adams, some mind numbing shit.

Ryan Adam set seemed really long. It was my first oasis concert though and it was really really epic. I thought they talked to the crowd more than I expected them to, sounded great too. I couldnt hear properly until a couple hours later, it was so loud (which isnt a bad thing)

From the back I felt the sound levels were about average for an Oasis show - not too loud but definitely loud. It did seem like the crowd was drowning out the sound near the end of the songs at times so maybe you had someone screaming in your ear.

Yeah he said this is for the lady-boys, not lady-birds. Then he pointed to someone in the crowd and said something like "and you're a really ugly lady-boy"

Oh yeah, Liam was in a great mood. He even wished us Merry Christmas!
Honestly I didn't think the crowd seemed that into it, but maybe it was just the section I was in.

In my section, (first to the right of noel, on the stands) everyone looked like they were standing up and pretty into it. It looked like in the section opposite us lots were sitting down though, kinda weird.

I was there! The band was tight, The crowd could have been more into it but a lot of first timers and people who don't know their music was the reason 4 that. Great show, I had a blast

Great show. Was 10 rows back front and centre. Some dude in front row was giving Liam the finger while Liam was dedicating a tune to "all of the lady boys", so Liam pointed him out as "even that ugly lady-boy over there". Lots of chatter, ie dedicating Slide Away to "all the beautiful ladies in London" and him and Noel laughing at a couple of clowns up front.
Tunes were good, vocals were spot on. Everyone I've talked to thought they were absolutely wicked... from chatting to people it seemed like there were alot of real fans too, not just people going to see Wonderwall, Champagne Supernova
Oh and Ryan Adams rocked the fuck out, awesome

My buddies and I went to the show with our hopes down thinking the results would be like that when we saw them on the last tour i.e. the kermit voice, but it turned out to be money well spent. I think the fact that I was not looking forward to something good made it feel that much better, and much better than the last tour.
We didn't really care for Ryan Adams so we arrived a bit late in his set (there wer three of us) and this dipshit and his airhead girlfriend were in two of our seats and insisted they were their seats. So we double checked our seats and told him they were ours but they looked liquored up and wanted to cause trouble so we got an usher to get them out of there. The guy said he'd be waiting for us outside but he was no where to be seen.
As for the show Liam was in a very upbeat mood and his voice did sound improved when I heard it live. Not perfect but it was enjoyable. The crowd was really nice, but not as wild as when i saw them at the air canada centre a few years back.

I was hoping Noel would have had something to say in his blog about the London show but nothing. Crowd looked like it was one of the better ones on this part of the tour but he just talked about his bus. I couldnt hear properly until a couple hours later, it was so loud (which isnt a bad thing) I usually feel a little deaf after most Oasis gigs especially if i'm right near a speaker bank. It goes away by the next morning though
