I think that DBTT tour was just a poor tour for him overall, and that his voice is fine in reality. Sure its changed, sure its not as good as 1996, but it's def not as bad as 2006. You can see he worked on it, and you're now seeing the results. Liam still has it. The band still have it. And its ashame that we, including me, wrote them off only a couple of years ago. I'm now fully confident they can tour and peform live at this high level for years to come. I saw them wednesday at the garden and I completely agree. His voice is fine - sounds great on the records, sounds great (most of the time) live. To each their own, but i'm of the opinion that Oasis fans at the shows should worry more about enjoying themselves and having fun and less about obsessing over every flaw in the band's performances.

Yup, 2005 led to all of us over analyzing Liam. And again, I'm not doubting Liam has problems or whatever with singing now, but those problems are GREATLY exaggerated. Claims from after the 2005 tour suggested Oasis might have to call it a day bc of Liam, and surely they cant continue in the near future live.....Simply not the case. Liam is fine.

I was in the back row too, section 202, row N, seat 33, I was in the middle. Not a bad view at all. But next time I go, I'm also gonna get the more expensive seats.....we all know Oasis is about the atmosphere and it killed me standing next to empty seats/people who didn't know much about the band, y'know? Hell yeah. I've spent almost all my money going to this concert. But i'm hoping for a decent job when I exit school next May, so if they do a late 2009 thing around here or something in the future past that, better seats are definitely in order. It really did kinda kill some of the atmosphere being so close to a band that does nothing but stand there yet so far away. To really see it happening you pretty much needed to be in the first 20 or 30 rows.

Hey, Notorious, where were you sitting? I was in the back-right section, J row, all the way on the left. From my other post about the concert, you might think I didn't enjoy it as much as I did. But your post sums it up right there. DLBIA pretty much gave me chills. Noel looked like a legend during that song. The Masterplan almost brought me to tears, lol. I knew it was a beautiful song but live.... it just brought it to a whole new level. And yeah. I need to make a trip to England to see them with a real crowd some day. And for those who have tickets for later in the tour, like DC and the 2009 leg, let me confirm: Liam still has his voice. You won't feel the same once you hear a bootleg of the show.

But does it matter how his voice sounds on a bootleg?
Firstly, bootlegs are rearly have great quality, they usually don't give the performance justice.
Secondly, if Liam sounds great during the gig when you are there (and I tend to think your live impressions are way closer to the truth than the impressions you get from the recorded stuff), and you have a great time, then why you should bother about how his voice sounds on some fan-made bootleg? I really don't understand this and I didn't understand it during the last tour either, during which I saw them twice, and Liam was great on both gigs.

All I said was that I think he won't feel the same about Liam's voice if he hears a recording of the show, whether it be soundboard quality or a fan bootleg. Nowhere did I say that this should bother you at the actual gig itself. If he wants to put the blinders on and actually think Liam's voice is perfect, then fine. I will let him have that.

You're an idiot.
Champagne Supernova:
^ He sounds fine
Song Bird:
^Again, he sounds fine
To Be Where There's Life:
^ MEGA
Wonderwall:
^ MONU-FUCKING-MENTAL
Again, you're an idiot. Again, there's really no problem with Liam's voice. Accept the facts: He had a bad your in 2005, he's worked on his problem, the problem is greatly exaggerated, and while his voice is indeed worse than 10 years ago, it's nowhere near as bad as where it was in 2005. Fact.
Fuckin mental.

That was quite the night. Three of my friends and I drove from Worcester, MA down to Camden. With the snow, the drive turned into a nine hour affair. I was so upset we msised the first few songs, but we got there during To Be Where There's Life. The rest of the show was amazing. It was my first Oasis concert and the band was spot on. Liam sounded good and the levels were perfect. Most importantly, the band looked like they were enjoying the show. Andy and Gem both recognized the fans at the end of the set, and Liam interacted with the fans a decent amount. The highlight of the sow was without a doubt Don't Look Back in Anger. The whole crowd was just so into it, and the change to the acoustic version is perfect. At first I was skeptical at the beginning of the tour, but this has become the ultimate crowd-band interaction for the entire show. I really enjoyed Supersonic, Supernova, and Waiting for the Rapture. Oasis showed me why I'd drive 9 hours in an awful snowstorm. They are simply a great live band and this was simply great. I couldn't have asked for more. Despite our late arrival, I'd do it all over again. Also, sorry for my outrageous singing. I was a spas the whole show

I went. Amazing fucking gig. Liam was spot on most of the show. I was sitting in 104 (near andy + gem) but towards the back of the section. It was simply amazing. Liam interacted a lot, Noel was kind of a fart as always besides the one or two cynical things he said.
Highlights: Slide Away (FUCKING AMAZING!), Champagne Supernova, The Masterplan, Don't Look Back in Anger, Supersonic

It boggles my mind why Americans don't get Oasis. I know they are a rather simple band as far as conventional wisdom goes, but they are a class act. I doubt we'll ever have another band like them in our life time. Truly special. Shame more American's dont see that. But hey, we see things they'll never see

You might have thought the high price of the ticket would cover parking- but no, an extra $20. Fuck you Camden, go murder some more people. What is this $20 for? To hire a small army to ensure that the cars in the lot don't all disappear, and the war zone in the streets doesn't spill over into the Susquehanna center.

For those of you who attended this show, you saw a great one! I also attended the MSG show on the 17th and the Camden show blew it out of the water! The setup of the venue is much better suited for a concert acustically speaking. Not to mention that everyone had a pretty good seat no matter where you were. Probably the best Oaiss concert i have ever attended
