The concert itself was OK. The festivities beforehand were great. Was great meeting some of you. Hope we can do it again next time around.
Musically the show was brilliant. The band as a whole was very tight. There was alot of energy in that arena. I can't give it a 10/10 though. I would give a 10/10 for the show I saw during the Brotherly Love Tour back in 2001, and this was def not up there with that show. I would give it a 7/10. Noel is lazy these days, and looks like a hunchback up there. Can't even take on his own solos anymore either. Its surprising (or is it?) how uninterested he seems compared back to 2005. Either way I had a great time. Liam sounded pretty decent this time around as well.

This was my first time seeing Oasis as i am a relatively new fan. Picked them up around 2005 and just ran with it. Me and my girlfriend had to be two of the youngest people there (17, 19)...besides the 10 year old sitting a few rows in front of us, that Noel dedicated a song to. Every song blew me away, we both sang every one of them at the top of our lungs. we were 7th row and gave up a lot of money for it but it was worth it. They are the only band a blow a paycheck or two on and not even care. Liam was so awesome and i thought his voice sounded excellent despite being a heavy critic of his "kermit voice."The version of Dont look back in anger was incredible. It seemed to have caught people by surprised but luckily, i wasn't the only one who sang the first line before everyone else realized what it was. I am the Walrus i thought was gonna be a drag. But i had the most fun during that song. I surprised myself and remembered every word. I dont know what else to say about Oasis last night except for maybe what Liam said for the crowd. They were the fucking bollocks! haha
I was also very impressed with Matt Costa the first opener. I was drawn in quickly by his tunes and had to check his work out once i got home. Ryan Adams was great first the first half of his set i think. His jams got carried away later in the set and i lost interest.

Special mention to Chris S, top drummer and also to Gem who put on a little show on his own!

I liked Matt Costa too, especially the last song where he was just clapping. That was cool. Too bad Ryan Adams absolutely sucked.

Great show. That's the best I've ever heard Liam sing. A girl by the soundboard expelled the most unbelievably large amount of vomit that I have ever seen.
Wine was $6.75, and Bud Light was $7.50. What a joke.

Ha, I was in "Section 3" and saw some of the staff come running the direction of the board with some mops. Glad to have my assumptions verified.

The entire lower section was sold out, but the upper deck was probably less than half-full.

i was at both the Chicago show on Friday and Detroit on Saturday. The crowd at Chicago was DEFINITELY better. They just seemed more into it. Detroit's crowd just seemed there for Wonderwall, ya kno.

3rd row center was fucking amazing. It's amazing how LESS critical you become of Liam when you're right there in front of him. The visual aspects were the best I've ever taken in at an Oasis show. bout 95/100 for me.

This was the fifth time that I have seen the lads (4th in Chicago) and it was defintely the best. On other sites I have seen people post stuff about Chris, saying "Get him off the stage!", those people quite obviously are just looking for something to comlpain about. I thought he was fucking top. Unbelieveable performance by all of the boys. Liam was fooking lovin' it. never seen him quite so into it. They came out of the gates ready to rock. The first four or so were absolute bangers. Loud and aggressive. Oasis just showed that they will stand toe to toe with any rock act on the planet. Live they are absolutely incindary.

Yeah, I have to say, I was very impressed with how the audience was getting in to it. MUCH more so than in DBTT at UIC in 2005. How was the late night drive to Detroit? That was ris-kay move man, with traffic and weather and all.

Had a massive time. My pictures are okay, nothing special: Shock of the Lightining: Cigs & Alcohol: Ended up getting talked into going to see them again in Detroit the next night by a combination of my two friends I met at the show as well as some peer-pressure from Liam & Phil.

yeah. dlbia has never been one of my favorites (though i do like it a lot better the way noel sings it now) but it was cool how much the crowd actually got into it because the crowd in '05 sucked.
