If it is ever released..
Who would you have to sing it?
And do you think it will be titled:
a) I wanna live in a dream (in my record machine)
or
b) (I wanna live in a dream) in my record machine
Personally i think noel should sing the verse with liam singing the chorus

I dunno if Liam could pull it off, it sounds too Noely to me... It has the cool Noel shout, you know like in DLBIA? Liam's snarl wouldn't work, neither would his IOT/SCYHO voice...
And where did we get the idea it has brackets in the title anyways? Especially if they have only mentioned it vocally in interviews... It probably will though, haha.

It should be sung by liam, and will be sung by liam. Noel wants it to be huge, and make it like 7 minutes long.. Only liam can pull that off imo. You want magic pie? or Champane supernova? I'll take the ladder. If noel sings it i'd rather have it as a b-side.

I'd love to keep Noel singing it but make it much more mega, something like what they did with All Around the World.
Also the title to be I Wanna Live in a Dream (In My Record Machine)

Apparently it's Liam sung. Remember, Noel said it was suppose to be on DOYS but because Liam was getting married they didnt have time to record it. Well, if Noel sang it, then they don't need Liam. Thus, it appears to be Liam sung.
I would like it to be Noel though. The demo version works well. Tweak the lyrics, add a few more guitar solos, and you got one hell of a song.
It WILL be released one day, most likely on the next album, as will STC.

Yeah, I know about the whole Liam didn;t show upp thing, but I cannot imagine him singing the verses, which is why they should do a duet, with noel on vverses and liam on chorus. And harmonize for the 'Can;t gimme a reason..' bit!
Oh, and I highly doubt STC will ever be released. (On an album at least.)

LDSMD was good when we first heard it (noel version) but then found out that the Liam version was much better. I think the same would apply here.

I think the Noel version is really really strong - I love the song already. Not sure how Liam would sound on it...I guess I'll have to wait until it happens to judge. Would be cool to hear a duet as mentioned above, ala acquiesce.

i dont get this whole not sure how liam will sound comments. Liams the lead singer of Oasis and the best vocalist since lennon. in my opinion his voice could take this song to a new level. He rocks every song he has ever recorded. Now lives another story..

Liam is well able to seam relaxe and calm as demonstrated in the last 2 songs....
the only way Noel voice would sound good is with an echo or reverb like in DLBIA which is only reason really that the song sounds as epic as it does...

Did Noel double track his voice in the demo? It would sound awesome if he double tracked his voice like he did in Waiting for the Rapture.

I wanna hear Liam singing, but that's probably cos' I've already heard Noel's version... oh makes absolutely no sense the song being called of "(I wanna live in a dream) in my record machine"... I mean the short version would be "In My Record Machine"?? doesn't sound much good...
