You'll need a client program to open it, I use utorrent which is probably the best in my opinion. Go here to download it: www.utorrent.com/ . It's pretty simple to use, when you click to download any torrent file just click "open with utorrent" and it should bring up a box like the one in this picture and then just wait 'til it finishes.

If you look back a few pages in this section there's a thread somewhere about how to use torrents a bit more in depth. Or just use the search feature at the top of the forum's home page and type "torrents" to find it quicker. Let me know if you have any trouble
