what a shame... this is HOW and WHY albums cool off and eventually fall off the face of the earth. They did the EXACT SAME THING with "The Shock" if the album sold on the first week was just because the fans bought it, now IOT... WTF!? Oasis was supposed to cash in with this tune! ahh gawd.... at least with the shock got the video to get some air time on MTV Hits/Vh1/Fuse, etc... the video has yet to air and they decided to simply not release the single either, wth man!?

actually its probably down to a record label stunt.
Record labels do this to force people to buy the album than rather just the single.. that's why.
record companies dont make much money from singles.. but the do from albums

is this for sure, or just speculation. how can the band develope if they dont release a second single.im outta time could be huge, and then followed by the turning.oasis could really gain new grounds, considering what happened to shock.does the band even realize this?.why resign with sony?,if they could only be limited to one single.are they content with that?,it is hard to imagine yes

Finally someone gets it. I've been saying this for weeks. Oasis is fucked or whoever runs them, This is DBTT all over again. One single in the states and canada and then fuck all, Then I gotta hear 4 two years why the band isn't big in the states? This is fuckin why people!
You don't release the most catchy, radio friendly song on the album! Fuckin retards.

one: they generally dont sell singles anymore in us( same as everywhere in the world..., but far less). the socalled singles are promo"singles"sent to the radiostations. they decide to play it or not(or get money to play it;)) two: the company in us is NOT sony...its waner bros right now

give it til next week. It is odd that they haven't even released it in the US considering the marketing they did in the US. They might just be releasing it later to coincide with the US tour.

if what beatle matt is true than its actually smart marketing cos:
1. the single will probably do well in europe and get it attention is US/Canada before its even released. 2. Comes out at the same time they start to tour there.

1 ) Oasis don't "release" singles to US shops and haven't done since Don't Look Back In Anger 2) There are American promo CDs for I'm Outta Time (with radio edits for the album and remixes on it)

why dont you guys bug the hell out of the radio stations, and demand the song to be played on air,and see what happens.

ever notice that they don't give a shit about america? yeah. there's a reason why. check out their tours in the states in the 90s and you'll see why the band don't care.

Im SO GLAD that that EP is just the Im Outta Time Single, because i was under the impression that this was oasis' versionof the extra song thing that coldplay did, meaning another random EP put out of the same 5 remixes.

just bought the EP , happy to see it released in America with the demo, and remix, it surprised me that the remix was like 2 minutes longer than the other one that was being passed around

ive been on to itunes store (canada) and its up there and apparently its the highest selling release at the moment for oasis. i only heard the preview but im really impressed by that remix. i always had the feeling i'm outta time was undercooked and the remix ands a bit of flare to it. if only the studio version had proper orchestras and that choir they used on the turning .
