windows 2000 professional forgot password? hey everyone, my girlie got a computer from work, and deleted the user profiles, and now cant get into the admin account because she doesn know the password.? anyone help.? any progams that can reset it?? i search around but there all shit trials, anyone know where i can find the full version? or if i should install windows xp pro? but i will need the cd? if anyone knows where i can download it for free cheers

there's a utility application called Winternals ERD commander that has the "Locksmith" option that allows you to change the password. unfortunately, it belongs to Microsoft so I can't really post a link but if you google it right ;D you'll find it

I thought about Hiren's Boot but didn't think there was an appropiate utility for that. anyway... that has to be the most useful cd ever made ;D
