this is kind of random but since most people here are going to the Palace show...
does anyone know what their camera policy is? i am going to be kind of close and i was wondering if i'd be able to bring my Canon... it's a rebel and has a 'removable lens' which is apparently such an illegality at concerts, so lame

This is what the Palace's website says:
"Camera Policy*: Non-Professional Cameras Only (No detatchable/extendable lens, camera is small in size)
*Camera policies are subject to change by artist request at any time."
I've never had problems with taking pictures at other Oasis gigs, so I doubt you'll have any trouble. However, my camera fits in my pocket...I don't know how big your camera is.

You are lucky my dear! Last night in London the boys exited the stage and got directly onto the bus heading for NYC :-( No after-show stuff last night :-(

I think they're all looking forward to the break they'll get for X-mas so they can be with family and whatnot. They probably won't be having any after-show stuff in NYC either, since wives/gf's will be there. From what I hear from my NYC friends, that's usually how it goes at shows there. But they'll be back in the late spring sometime. I was told May, so keep eyes peeled for dates being announced around that time. More fun times to come again in late Spring.  ;D ;D |

The Soapbox had a mini-meetup there so we were consuming beers before making the walk to the venue. Good times. Sorry to hear you had trouble with the law. What happened? |

long story i hear another scotsman was backstage in chicago though aye ? If he was, i wasn't aware of it. There was a couple who were sitting with us while we were waiting to be escorted back. But then when they picked out who came into the room, security picked all the girls and left the couple behind. I never saw them come back. And it was wall-to-wall girls in Detroit, so... |
