Helluva a fight though, not many that keep me on the edge of my seat over 12 rounds. Was convinced he was gonna get sparked out by the way he was hanging his chin out but I suppose he knew what he was doing... 46-0 aint a bad record I suppose, even for a sheep shagger.

Calzaghe said he would retire after the Kessler fight, and he's still going. Now hes after disrespectively dismissing the title bid of the great Roy Jones Jr. he says he may well retire. I can put my infallibility on the line right now and say that he WILL fight again. He is 46-0, while the legendary Rocky Marciano retired from the ring with an unblemished 49-0 record. Surely equalling or beating this record will prove too much temptation for him?? This could prove to be his downfall. Every fighter thinks they have one good fight left in their aging limbs, when they should be on the scrapheap. Calzaghe is only 4 years younger than Roy Jones. He should be wise enough to learn from Jones' mistake. But still, there is only one Marciano........

Yeah I agree he'll definitely fight again, I hope though it is just 1 more final thank you at the millenium stadium or something. Hatton Malignaggi saturday, apparently Noel & Liam walking in Hattons belts. I reckon Mlaignaggi could prove more of a test than people think, he's fast, has a quick left hand and fights on the outside, he could frustrate Hatton.

Hatton on points tonight. Malignaggi's bloody quick so Hatton could have problems cutting the ring off, but he'll still land enough body shots to wear him down and catch the judges eyes, plus its Vegas and the judges there favour the aggressor. Malignaggi has a glass right hand so I don't see him hurting Hatton, but also think he'll be too cunning to get stopped.

who else heard Roll it Over in the dressing room? Yep despite it being nearly 4am, thus time for keeping the volume pretty low on the TV, it was unmistakeable. Brilliant touch. First person to congratulate Hatton when he'd won apart from Mayweather Snr and Lee Beard was Liam.

Instead of making a new topic, I may aswell revive this one. Big fights coming up... Mayweather-Marquez Cotto-Pacquiao Roy Jones Jr (GOD!) vs Jeff Lacy David Haye vs Valuev (If Valuev doesn't get sent down for assault) And one of the Klitschko's is fighting, but that means nothing, because the heavyweight division is shoooooocking. I only mentioned Haye because he's English and Valuev might be sent down. I think Mayweather will beat Marquez at some point during the later rounds via TKO, maybe 9th or 10th. I like Cotto but Pac-Man's speed and strength will be what decides the fight, Cotto's too slow imo, 3rd round KO. Jones Jr may be past it but I still think he's one of the best at his weight and he'll KO Lacy in the 9th . Haye to knock out Valuev, why, I don't know, all I know is he's British and is in a shit division. I wanna know tho', who do you all think would win between Mayweather/Pac-Man? I say Floyd. Floyd's fought a Pac-Man, but Pac-Man's never fought a Floyd.

Alright mate, pretty close with the Jones Jnr Lacy prediction. Haven't seen the fight yet (got a copy being sent me) but heard he was impressive, looked like his former self. I still would like to see him retire soon, think he's tainted his legacy a bit (I'm a big fan of him myself like).
I can see PacMan picking off Cotto who will just try and stalk in, i agree hsi speed will be too much for him.
Some big british fights coming up Michael Jennings Vs Kell Brook i'm most looking forward to.

The british fight we need to see is Hatton vs Khan. One last fight for Ricky to prove he's still the best at 140. Khan's good, but I think if Ricky goes in with a good plan to smother Khan and hit him with some rib breaking body shots and then in the later rounds give a good few to the chin, he'd knock Khan out. Just needs to stop ballooning in weight between fights, if he can keep fit and go in in the best shape he can be in, he can beat Khan.

Mayweather's return tonight. He'll be a bit sluggish but thats alright, he's been out for a while. Marquez has never fought at 144 if I'm correct, so he'll be more sluggish, 9 pound weight gain if I'm right. 9th round TKO win for Mayweather
