They could have at least put one of the songs from the box set on there as a B-side, boy with the blues, I believe in all or one of the alternative versions. That wouldnt have been asking for too much. I dont want those remixes.

i actually don't think this is an act of laziness. Noel has already made a comment in the press recently that 'Oasis had never done any remixes', so I think he sees it as trying something new. Many bands have done it (U2 comes to mind)....i think that Noel is just taking this as an opportunity to try something they have not done before...
that being said, i'd still rather have new tunes.... but oh, well....

Theyre one of the few bands that I can think of in which fans actually look forward to their singles because they know Oasis is gonna have some great B sides there. But now that seems to have changed and Its totally wrong It's one of the reasons I love the band so much, but people still moan about them releasing great b-sides. How many topics of 'Imagine MG with such and such', 'Why on earth didn't x go on DM' 'Why did Noel leave all those great songs as b-sides', 'they'd be bigger than U2 if BHN ran like this' etc etc etc. It just shows people love a good bloody moan and will do so whatever they choose to do. |

I happen to love all that stuff though! Theres nothing like reconstructing albums to the obsessed fan. Besides what else would go on in this forum? Probably just thousands and thousands of threads about the declining quality of Liams voice...*shudders* Noel is just giving the fans a massive bitch slap with this one. He bloody handed us 6 songs, count em six! in the last three years. One of them was a Heathen Chemistry offcut as well! Then AGN is shoved on the album at the last minute because it seems Noel didnt wanna get out of bed on the day of recording Come On, Its Alright.... My loyalty is waning and only the worst type of fan would defend Noels actions. |

Very dissapointing. Who thouught it would come to this - Oasis having remixes as b-sides. Most likely Noel's decision, as Liam has said he hates the remixes.
Considering the amount of songs Oasis supposedly have, it's very lazy. Perhaps Noel should take time out towrite some b-sides instead of appearing on his mate Russell Fucking Lanky Freak Blands show. Well, since that's cancelled, surely he must have time now.

I've got no problem with them holding back quality tracks for future albums. But Andy Bell claimed in a recent interview they had 60 songs demoed for DOYS. That's a ridiculous number, it wouldn't take much to put a few of those on a single rather than giving us some shit remixes. |

You ain't been paying attention then, mate. I have slated SHIS(OMO) ever since it came out. It's Sexy Sdaie with the words changed and the point removed. The B-sides have declined in quality in a drastic way since the SOTSOG era (another point I have made many times), but at least they made *some* sort of effort. This remix stuff is bollocks. It's also doubly annoying when all they do in interviews is boast about how many fucking songs they've got. |

IF we had 2 live tracks on each of these singles some of you fake oasis wankers would moan saying you have em as you DOWNLOAD all the free bootlegs,some of you's aint real fans anyway.There's definitely a reason why there's no new tracks for b-sides.I would prefer new b-sides myself like the rest of ya but complaining dont change anything.

Ok, I bought the SOTL single, coz I wanted to have it, and every little helps. But the chances of me actually buying this single are incredibly slim, I didnt like the Falling Down remix as the B-Side before, and I'm not particularly fond of this one either....or any of them really tbh I don't want to say that I won't buy it, but it is disappointing that all we get for buying their single is some crappy remix of a song that I already have  |
