someone help please?

recently had big laptop problems had to use the supplied recovery disk to restore factory settings and it meant i lost all files and progs

mostly reinstalled but now on nearly every torrent d/l it keeps stopping with message "error-cyclic redundancy check"

if i restart the torrent it works for a while

wtf is this all about?

it could mean the hard disk is about to crash

usually those errors happen when the HDD is trying to read or write in a bad sector.
I suggest you back up your files and run a chkdsk or some testing tool.
