They missed a perfect oppurtunity to play Stop Crying Your Heart Out AAARRRRGH!!! Another tune that would have sounded great with the choir!! They'll never play that live again though. Liam consistently murders it.

Liam sounded crap on the first few songs (Lyla the major highlight) but singing Wonderwall it was like he went back to 1997 period.
Same with Slide Away and I'm Outta Time.
I think his voice just needed a little warming up until he got into it.

I think using the choir sparingly added to the impact and effect on the songs they did use them on.
Jeez that Champagne Supernova - I've never heard a better version.

Their performance was AMAZING! For the first time in a very long time, my only gripe with their sound was Noel's guitar! Could've done with a bit more delay and reverb, like he usually does Liam sounded great, hopefully he can keep this form up Oasis need to inject more choir into their songs

I prefer IATW to My Generation. Even if I think they should do another cover, or no cover at all. By the way, IATW at the Electric Proms was unbelievable, fucking great with the choir.

Lol plenty of highlights on this gig ill get the bad stuff out of the way..
Rock n Roll Star, Morning Glory, Lyla, Ciggies and Alcohol all sounded poor to me, mainly because Liam has to push his voice quite a bit in those songs and he just undid all the good work from the Canadian gigs and went back to shouting.. the band were fantastic though, however...
On the ballad type songs Liam was fucking fantastic, Slide Away, Wonderwall, I'm Outta time, Champagne Supernova.. He also managed a great peformance on Aint Got Nothing and I am the Walrus.
I'll echo what some have said here in the Don't Look Back in Anger version was possibly the best live recording of that song ever made, sends chills up my spine. All the Crouch-end songs sound fantastic, the only thing that would have made Champagne Supernova sound better would be Weller coming on and doing guest lead and playing the song like it can be live..
Loved some of the sound bites...
'James Bond is here tonight' <cue some James Bond theme guitar riffs>
unsure of exactly what he said next but along the lines of whats with all yhe yanks doing the bond themes, put a word in for me to do the next one and i'll let you play me in my life story!
Then 'This is our new drummer, Chris Sharrock, or as we like to call him, Number 32'
cue Laim 'oh over there, George Christ' (at Jay Darlington).

Dont Look Back In Anger...........Amazing, one of the best performances ever of this song Agreed mate. It blew my mind. Thought it sounded good in Birmingham, and I must have heard the song at least 1000 times but it was just beautifully performed. It was my highlight of the show anyway.
