MSG was a tough sell for me this year. I would have to stay over in the city and hotel prices that time of year are off the charts. I would be looking at a $500 bill when everything is said and done. I work in the investment industry so I am a little nervous about my job security. I am sure that many are finding themselves in the same spot. Concert sales are going to suffer. Oasis is still pretty reasonable but prices have been on the rise. People have to find places to cut back.

I think they may have bitten off more than they can chew this time around. These are big arenas they are playing. MSG is mostly sold out, there are a few restricted view seats by the edge of the stage left. We're going to DC (Fairfax) it seems to be mostly sold out as well, the only seats are right at the back in the corner. If you look at places like Denver and Oakland, you can get really good tickets still. LA will be pretty full, Chicago should be as well.

THe fucked up US economy I tell you, held me back from buying tix to atleast two more US gigs. As it is, Ive only bought tix for L.A. and Vegas. Ive no clue about how tix sales in the states are going but, I can guess that Staples (L.A.) gig, is prob. only half full (can any one confirm?) Ive seen ABSOLUTELY NO promotion for the new Lp or Tour at all. I dont know who the fuck makes them decissions but if they plan on selling out the joints they better crack on it.

All I know is that 2005 was mega (and 2006 of course). We will have to wait until after the shows to hear what's really going on

I'm not sure about the states but I'm just glad they rescheduled the London gig - which was sold out before the date change.

Ive got tix for the LA gig. When i went to get them at the store, the person on charge said all the floor seatings were taken up within minutes after the 'official' public release. the rest of them were sort of lingereing around
the US economoy is REALLY BAD. horrible, but im sure its going to all gone. maybe it is but i dont know for sure

I think floor seats will be filled at all their gigs in the U.S. I'm not too sure about the cheap seats in the back and if they will be filled.

Hi, i am coming from England for the gig at the Pearl Theatre in Las Vegas, it looks tiny which should be amazin as ive got standing tickets. Has anyone been before? Just wondering what it is like in there. Hoping everyone will be jumping around like over here as ive heard in the U.S the crowd can be prety still!
Any info would be great, cheers.

I've got two tix for MSG in the 300s section, if anyone is interested (for face value) before I go and sell them on ebay.

The Pearl is awesome. The floor is small. I saw The Verve there and it was excellent. I expect Vegas to be one of the best shows on the tour. I'm curious to see how much of the production they can fit on the stage. Go to the Palms website and check out the Pearl section. I'll be partying at the palms hopefully getting as many free drinks for the least amount of $ spent on video black jack. It would be cool to meet some fans from around the globe.

Is it really that bad in the US? Apparently the UK is dire too. Here in Australia so far you wouldn't know anything was up. Interest rates are down, petrol is cheaper and they have tax cuts so most people have more money in their pockets.
So we could buy oasis tickets but no sign of a tour here though as there is ZERO interest in the band here right now.
