he's in court today...we shall all keep our ears open?? i'm in london , ontario it was just mentioned on the local news...was it o'sullivan or just sullivan? who cares ....just hope he gets the book thrown at him..repeatedly as noel would say

I seems like this case is going to set a standard for this kind of crime. Hopefully he'll do time.

God I hope he gets like the max...I still have nightmares about that!!...awful awful... I agree with you. I hope he gets the maximum of penality for assaulting and injuring Noel  It still hurting to watch the videos. And I'm interested to hear the reason why he has done that. |

Apparently he didn't even have to show up in court in person - he just sent his lawyer. Oh, and he won't be appearing in person next month EITHER! I love how the justice system says "oh well you did something awful and will be charged, but you don't have to bother showing up...just stay in bed with a tea, then" >:-(

Apparently he didn't even have to show up in court in person - he just sent his lawyer. Oh, and he won't be appearing in person next month EITHER! I love how the justice system says "oh well you did something awful and will be charged, but you don't have to bother showing up...just stay in bed with a tea, then" >:-( They do that hear you can plead by letter for what you americans call misdemeanours but you have to plead guilty if you plead not guilty you have to turn up at some point for trial (usually months after the fact)this guy has been dealt with rather quickly so am assuming he is pleading guilty(yeh i know its hard to not with the youtube footage but he is still allowed the right to a fair trial if he so wishes) my guess is that he is probably been defered for psychiatric and social service reports (or the canadian equivalent) the first is self explanitory and the other is to see how best to punish him be it financial/custodial etc |

My mate's girlfriend's brother was stamped on by a bunch of thugs who'd just headbutted the girl he was walking home from the pub.
He had footprints on his face and the lad who admitted doing it was let off with a caution, the case didn't even go to court.
