I had the privilege to attend Noel and Gem acoustic at the Danforth Music Hall-toronto in 2006. I sat at the very back in the top right hand corner. Me and my buddy got to stand and rest our backs against the wall cuz there was nothing behind us but cement walls. This gig was brilliant. All the b-sides we all wish 2 hear live. It was a once in a lifetime moment and made me proud 2 be a backer of this band. What other band can do a stripped down gig of 80% b-sides and have it go down as my favourite gig ever? Only Oasis. Well done. If you got 2 see that acoustic tour live you know what I mean. It was magic.

I know what you mean. I was fortunate enough to see Noel & Gem at the Manchester MEN Arena last March. No kidding it was better than most Oasis concerts i have been to. Im serious! Since when at an Oasis gig do you get the whole crowd singing to Talk Tonight , Listen Up, Don't Go Away, There Is A Light That Never Goes Out and Don't Look Back in Anger'. Paul Weller joined Noel & Gem for a cover of the Jam's 'Butterfly Collector'. I also think there were female string percussion on stage for Listen Up and Don't Go Away. Don't Look Back in Anger was sung word-for-word by the entire crowd. All the lights in the arena were kept on for the whole song. An amazing sight. Definitley one the best nights out i have ever had!
