I agree, only geeks with no life listen to them. I actually don't know any geeks who don't like them. (I'm not a geek) I like some of their songs, I admit, but I've never listened to a full album. I mean, they've been around for ages, yet they probably only have ten radio played songs.

I know for a fact that Ive heard the following songs multiple times when listening to the radio: Give It Away, Under the Bridge, Suck My Kiss, Soul to Squeeze, Aeroplane, Scar Tissue, Californication, Otherside, By the Way, The Zephyr Song, Can't Stop, Dani California, Tell Me Baby, and Snow. Theres 14 songs right there for ya. And I fucking rarely listen to the radio.

On the otherhand... only Oasis song Ive ever heard on the radio was Wonderwall... possibly Champagne Supernova altho prolly not.

And you admit to liking some of their songs, yet you dismiss them because YOU havent listened to a whole album? Thats not really a good reason now is it?

and lol... only geeks listen to RHCP? Funny... cuz here where I live... the geeks do listen to them... but so do the stoners, jocks, guitar players, college kids, adults, etc. They've sold a helluva lot more records than Oasis... so someones obviously buying their albums.

Plus... John Frusciante and Flea are probably the best guitarist and bassist of the last 15-20 years. Musicians respect them, critics respect them, and the general public respect them. Geek music? dont think so
