Why do they consistently do this with the scheduling? Just like Wembley this will be the most recorded/viewed/talked about gig yet they schedule it on the heels of almost three consecutive gigs prior(which they also did w/ Wembley)?
Many of you will take the position that it is Rock n Roll if Liam cant handle it he shouldn't be the singer however how many frontmen belt it out over the noise the way he is expected to night in and night out? He clearly is better with a few days of rest! I know myself as someone who makes an attempt to sing w/ even the slightest sore throat or cold, as bad as I am normally, I am that much worse!
Apparently he was suffering from a cold/sore throat at Wembley. After viewing the videos from Wembley with the exception of IOT, I did not feel that he was as bad as everyone keeps saying but how is he supposed to get better by doing gig after gig without rest?
Not very Rock n Roll? Definitely maybe? I would rather have my singer rested and sounding good (especially knowing that he has throat issues) than being straining his vocal chords night in night out for the sake of R n Roll!
We have all heard some flashes of Brilliance on this tour(maybe not 94-97) but after watching IOT from Sheffield(not miming) as well as some of the performances of Slide Away he clearly can do it he just needs a little break from time to time and now I fear an opportunity to show off the new songs w/ the choir may again be squandered.

The Joni image is classic!!
I guess I feel like they have come up w/ such a great album and w/ the choir is such an opportune time to showcase the songs, its a shame if Liams voice is not properly rested which i feel could make a significant difference.
