Although I like the video for TSOTL not being able to see the band and Identify with them (for non die hard fans) can actually be a turn off. Seeing the band playing their instruments in a video helps people connect. Just my opinion.... who knows. yes, i agree with you 100% i think the Lyla video was almost perfect because it showed the cute girl in the back-story and the band playing centerstage and it was very colorful, etc... a video like GO Let it Out is what they need to pair up with "The Turning" for an eventual latter single, since IOT will be the 2nd one.

THE ALBUM WILL NOT DO ANYTHING WITH ONLY TSOTL as the only single.
Ok it got the album top5 ,, but the record label needs to release a second single and pomote it well.. and Oasis need to play a few TV shows too.
then the album might pick up .
Other wise this will be DBTT all over again... Lyla got decent airplay and DBTT had a good start infact better than DOYS ! but dropped like a stone! as "let there be love" did not get any airplay at all.

There are no songs on this album that have true crossover appeal. Its a good album with solid songs that Oasis fans and rock fans will like, but there are no DLBIAs here. I'm outta time is WAY too retro to do much of anything on the US charts. I think its a great song, but c'mon.
