Listen, Oasis is fucking on tour. A spot on new album is out. Why does everyone have to criticize Liam's voice after every fucking gig? I understand that he can sound a bit off and weak at times, but isn't the point of a gig to be with friends and enjoy music? Your tellin me that Liam sounding a bit off on a fuckin song is gonna ruin your night?
Jesus, lets just enjoy it for what it is: our favorite band playing some fucking music.

In my opinion is voice is 'improving' slightly on the DBBT tour..but its pretty kermit-esque already So we've got a right to say "hey liam, your voice is crappy"..I'd give anything to get it back yo even the FTM days in mid-late 2000. Jessy..its an opioions place..these forums. Liams voice is always going to be a issue raised now and again Dont you un-deneibly want his voice to get better, improve? yes, we all do.

His voice defined the Oasis sound. Their live recordings don't excite me anymore.

Hey jesse I agree with you. He gave 150 percent back in the day and now he actually has 2 keep in shape but its good enough. You won't hear me complain and whine like some people on this forum. Try and block it out.

People pay good money to see them live, and should have a right to complain if it's not up to their standards. It's not like it's a baseless criticism so there's nothing wrong with it. Yeah he's gotten better since the last tour, but it's still pretty bad at times.

If his voice was acceptable, there wouldnt have been any trouble, but it was plain awful on Lyla and I'm outta time at Wembley. Totally outta tune

He needs to stop slurring when he sings.

He needs to stop slurring when he sings. they need to stop adding gigs and upon gigs, his voice can't take it. I know thats not want fans what to hear but if he is losing it now and its like 3 months into the tour..what is it going to be like Summer 09? I can't believe that no one in Oasis has realized this! I love Liam's voice, and not over used its still wonderful.

I love Liam and the band but he defo needs his throat checking out.
This is the start of the tour and his vocals were very poor at wembley.
The way he pulls away from the mic ta take a gulp of air cant be helping him.

Bottom line is this.........Liam's voice is not as good as it used to be. And its never gonna be as good as it was say back in 96-2002.....However his voice right now is better than it was on the DBTT tour. He sounds better on DOYS than he did on DBTT. His voice is less raspy.
Liam needs to start singing more of the words. Example "I said maybeeeeeeee" instead of "I said mayybe"........"to spend your days in the Sun-sheeinnnnnneeee" rather than "Sunshine..."
Hold out those notes liam! Your were renowned for that!

I love Liam's voice, and not over used its still wonderful. I'm sure the band is well aware of how Liam sounds and the fact that the constant gigs are not helping him. They need to promote the album though and they want to tour so there really isn't much they can do unless they do shows w/o him. The fact is his voice is awful and it's the reason why I don't mind only seeing Oasis once or twice when they tour. It used to be I wanted to see them as much as possible but I'm not going to spend my money to hear Liam sing like shit.

Fuck agreed, on the next album, the band should record Liam for what he REALLY sounds like. That way when the tour comes round, he's voice will sound exactly like what the lp sounds like. On the album he sounds soo polished that its almost night and day when they do live app. I like his voice either way, as long as we get no fuckin Ashlee Simpson SNL "theatrix", Im cool.

Wow some of those weren't great, maybe "awful", but I'd rather be in the audience in the presence of Noel and Liam than nothing.

ive never been one to criticize until i heard the proms. EVERY SINGLE example here of what is supposed to be terrible, is much better than most of what he sang at that show. It wouldnt be half as bad if he finished the note, which he CAN DO. its some wierd personal preference.

Just adding to that, if he tried doing more singing than yelling.

thing is most the people moaning have only been to 1 show and deciding to slag his voice (awaits we heard the boots argument now.news for you being there is 10 times better than on cd)if maybe they had done more of the tour and looked at the average of good nights and bad they would notice that actually his voice is better than last tour
if your not happy am sure you could get tickets for take that next year

Haha you make me laugh out loud rolling on the floor and whatnot
