Holy shit, I love these games and I dreamed (ok just really wanted) them to release all Oasis album to play in them. They just announced today that they're going to have the entire DOYS album up for download in early 2009 with BIU, WFTR, and TSOTL ready for d/l by November 6. For those of you not familiar with these games, getting an entire album up by a band is very rare and it's a pretty big deal when it's announced. Just the attention that this gets at the time announcement alone is more publicity than they usually get in the states. i have guitar hero 3 solid game. probably sell it and have to get some money to afford the new guitar hero but fuck it would be so worth it. i wish they would have like a greatest rock hits package for every decent act.. some might say is already in the new one, imagine acquiesce, cigarettes and alcohol, gas panic!, champagne supernova with a 98 outro. fuck that would be cool

I'm pissed that I have to get GH now. That game fucking blows compared to Rock Band. Do you have X-Box or PS3. What I've been able to find is that your X-Box original Rock Band instruments will work with Guitar Hero: World Tour. As for PS3, Sony (the ones that were being bitches about it before) apparently has a patch coming for the original Rock Band instruments to work on Guitar Hero: World Tour (damn it... and this better happen!). If you have Rock Band 2 on either X-Box or PS3, the instruments will work with Guitar Hero: World Tour. I am gonna be PISSED if I have to buy a new set of instruments because I have the PS3 original Rock Band. Just like all the other friggin' Oasis fans who have it for the Oasis tracks. Grrrrrr. |

GH has been slumping. Rock Band is a better overall game. I had a feeling this album would be downloadable cos its got some heavy riffs and stuff. Should be interesting to see how TBWTL will be like. WTFR, TNOR, BIU, TSOTL should be amazing

This is awesome. I was ecstatic when they came out with Wonderwall, Don't Look Back In Anger, Live Forever, and Rock N' Roll Star for Rock Band.
I just bought Rock Band 2. I was dreaming that they would release the album on it, but I guess GH:WT will have to do. Definitely gotta buy it now.
And did anyone notice they said "Some Might Say" comes with the game, but the video in the newsroom is of "Supersonic" on Guitar Hero? Is it both? Or just a mistake?

In order to share your tracks with other people, you have to upload your song creation for review with Activision (or whoever will be overseeing this portion of the game). This is to prevent people from doing exactly what you just said. In other news, no Wii? Fuuuck. Nintendo needs to get their act together on this downloadable content business. |
