It will sell out within a week!
As for support bands I'll guess Kasabian and The Coral.

I like to think it'll sell out within a week. Doubt it though.
An Irish band to open as was said, probably The Blizzards who are sh1te, and Arctic Monkeys to support...

If its 80,000-100,000 capacity I doubt it will sell out for at least 5-6 months due to the global finacial crisis and, unfortunately Oasis arent that big a draw In Ireland that they used to be. It still should sell out though because the venue is great and is right for Oasis.
Support acts:
Kasabian The Verve(probably wishful thinking on my part) Ian Brown(Dont know if he would support Oasis though) Primal Scream Ryan Adams Obligatory Irish act opening up the day.

It'll sell out quick. They might not command the same sales as they once did but you can be sure as fuck they have enough new and old fans here to sell it out quick enough.

Obligatory Irish act opening up the day. U2 Ha, it'll more than likely be The Frames or some boring singer songwriter that our country has been churning out the last few years to annoy everyone with decent musical ears.

It'll sell out fairly fast believe me, not because it's Oasis but because it's Slane. Thats a big deal over here and Oasis are popular enough to sell out within a couple weeks!

You are contradicting yourself there in the space of 1 sentance! Anyway, Slane, down the years has, occassionaly, sold slowly, whe the likes of Sterophonics, Bryan Adams headlined it and that was in financially stable times. The economy, right now, is fucked. This gig wont sell out for at least 5-6 months...If Im wrong I'll hold me hands up....for a few seconds.then put them back down again.

My point was Slane will sell out fast no matter who plays it's just something that everyone knows about and it's a big deal, then I said Oasis are popular enough anyway! How is that contradicting myself??

Some good ones up north include The Cutaways and General Fiasco (who seem to be following The Enemy everywhere, hottest new thing coming outta herE).

Just saw an ad on Irish tv about the gig. Ticket price is 76.50 euro with probably a 6 euro booking fee so around 80 euro.........which is a great price if theres gonna be 4-5 support acts on before Oasis.
