Thats the ONE thing I admire Americans for...we dont throw piss or shit at eachother. I guess in that sence Im such an American bc If and when I make it to an oasis gig in the UK, Im gonna wanna be down the front and should piss or shit fly my way, I think that would just RUIN the show for me.

I was at the 2005 gig at Manchester Stadium, probably got piss thrown on me but there's lager being thrown all over the place as well, so you just have to tell yourself that the liquid trickling down your neck is in fact lukewarm Carsberg and not the contents of someone's bladder. Thinking about it, actually, there isn't much compositional difference between them.
I've never heard of shit being thrown, that's just bizarre and thoroughly grotesque.

saw this happen at the 20005 Manchester stadium gigs and Finsbury 2002. If you got hit with flying fluids and it was cold; it was usually beer. If it was warm, it was piss haha...I also saw guy take a shit in a styrofoambox (used for food) and throw it.

without doubt the biggest piss and beer flying fest was Wembley 2000. Every other minute something landed, and by god, you prayed it was cold.. Cold = Beer, Warm = Piss.

I got hit in the back of the head with a big half-empty bottle of Sunny Delight at Wembley 2000 (the FTM night, not the 'Liam can't remember who he is' night). Luckily the cap was on the bottle so whilst I had a bit of a shock I wasn't drenched in the horrible stuff.
I have NEVER heard of anyone throwing shit at a gig, or experienced it myself (including festivals etc). That's unbelievable.

Nah it's definitely not a Liverpool thing. I've been to lots of gigs, it only seems to happen at outdoor gigs and festivals, Oasis and Arctic Monkeys. Never seen shit being thrown, why on earth would someone do that?!

Nah You just get on with it, and hope that next time, the liquid is cold.

If thats the case then yeah beat him. But when youre at an Oasis gig theres piss flying from all over the place and you cant exactly see who it was ! I normally have a go at some chav next to me if he starts pissing in a bottle to throw it. Yeah i'm older now but the piss thing really winds me up, much prefer now sitting in the seats then getting close to the front and getting covered in tons of crap (literally)

A disgusting thing to do. Just because a few souls are rotten enough to do such a thing, doesn't mean that it defines the English concept of "fun".

Happened at Finsbury Park, I managed to dodge everything, most likely because the perpetrators were in front of me and obviously went for the maximum amount of victims (I was about 2/3 of the way back). It is fucking gross though. Whenever I saw them back home I was worried about piss and shit in England and getting a kicking in Scotland

Still no explanation as to why people do it. R they too lazy to go to the bog or just don't want to lose their place where they're standing?

Nah but seriously that's ridiculously gross - I think I'd puke on the spot!
It's always been my dream to see an Oasis gig in Manchester but it makes you have second thoughts about it!
