Gonna get one tomorrow just a few quick questions
Can I record straight off the telly like a normal VHS and can you say - record one programme, then another one later one etc. or do you need DVD-RW for that??
cheers

You'll be able to keep recording on DVD-R's, but once they're finalised you won't be able to format or record anything else on them. DVD-RW's can be formatted after being finalised so they can be re-used.

ya sky+ is easy but it's also nice to have a DVD recorder to keep stuff forever, like when the paris show was on VH1 etc. I don't have a dvd recorder so I guess I'm jealous lol
