I freaking hope so. I had tickets right in front of the stage and then let them get away somehow. :-(

It's clearly not sold out. I just went on ticketmaster and found seats still available.

its sold out, it just takes time for the re-available seats to clear out. People purchase tickets. then release them for various reasons

It is not sold out. As of 2am EST, I am still pulling groups of 4 in the 300 sections and single tickets in the 100s.
We've got 100s for the 17th, hoping for better for the 18th.

i doubt it since they play friday and saturday too Doesnt matter. What matters more is that there are still tickets left for the first show. As of Monday morning: singles in the 200s, multiples in the 300s are still left. Im not betting on another MSG show until the next leg if at all. The 2005 show was completely gone in less than a day.

In all fairness, the economy was in a lot better shape in 05 too. I can't get on people for not wanting to waste money on tickets during a time like this

The show is also in NYC, not some smaller city where there is a much greater lack of disposable income and draws people from all over the world. Surely, the economy is affecting some people from being able to go to the shows, but 20000 people at MSG is a drop in the fucking bucket when taking into acct all of the other things that go on in that city night in and night out. Its more of a case of people not really giving that much of a shit about Oasis than anything else.
