I've got about 15 friends lovin the new album. The majority of them are average oasis fans and really don't know any song past stop crying your heart out,if that. I asked them which were their favourites and most of them had a handful of different options. My friends aren't easy to please but I felt confident with this album because its so different yet has that magical oasis touch.
Hear are the top 5 songs that were choosen as favourites when I asked. I have a good memory, and no I didn't write down their picks. I love oasis but I'm not that fucked.
In no pirticular order They said these the most.
Waiting for the rapture I'm outta time High horse The turning The nature of reality.

I concur.
A review said it probably won't drag in any new fans...but I've shown a few friends who pretty much don't know Oasis besides wonderwall and champagne supernova and they love it and are actually going to buy it...just a note that nobody around here knows anything about Oasis except me...so I really think this new groove or the cliche "return to form" thing has really worked out because everyone is listening to it.

interesting. swap bag it up with TNOR and that's how my friends have been recieving it.
TNOR is the only song my friends haven't liked.
with the rest being solid album tracks, in their opinions.

Hmm I've been plugging the new album too haha. I just sent IOT to a girl I'm currently digging. I think she'll like it. Females love the ballads and Liams voice sounds bloody amazing on it

I got two of my buddies to downlaod the whole album and 3 girlies to fall in love with I'm Outta Time (they only like Oasis ballads..., typical girls). Have I done good?

A mate of mine, who is a Depeche Mode-fan, by the way, thinks that oasis worst efforts are their ballads.

They aren't Oasis fans. But my best friend at back home loves all the Oasis songs, just not the ballads, she is also a true fan.

Just found a fourth girl who loves it. I really hope this song gets played on the radio and especially on Muchmusic here in Canada, it could really break through.
