I listened to the Noel interview this morning on Absolute Radio (ex Virgin) and Noel was asked if he was happy with the album. He said he was really happy on how it turned out, but he had to omit 2 great songs from it (due to Liam getting married and not being able to finish in time). Does anybody have any idea which songs these were?

One was "Come On, It's Alright" and don't know the other... But it's really great to hear Noel would rather not include a song if Liam couldn't sing it, instead of Noel just singing it himself... sometimes I think Noel demands to sing his own songs just because... good to hear he will hold onto songs until Liam CAN sing them. He should have done the same for several songs; one being Mucky Fingers, where they just settled for puting the demo on DBTT instead of recording a proper version with Liam. DOYS is the first Oasis record since Be Here Now where I think Liam and Noel sang the right songs.

Noel sings Mucky Fingers perfectly. And if anyhting, A Noel sung song is more likely to be played live than a song sung by Liam these days

I wonder if these songs will end up on the next album.

hi. I'm Japanese.
I read Japanese Magazine "Rockin' On". Noel's interview was recorded in the Magazine.
He wanted to record two songs for DOYS. Two songs are "Come On, It's Alright" & "I Wanna Live In A Dream In My Record Machine"!!!!
But Two songs was not able to be recorded. Because Liam had held a wedding, it was not possible to record.

Agreed. I can hear the big drums, the huge solo(s) and Liam vocals. It could have been amazing

Hmmm they waited so long to release the album..... They surely had time to do these songs. Oh well, more to look forward to.

most oasis tunes are perfect for liam but some just sound better with noel (and vice versa).
examples noel>liam include:
mucky fingers the importance of being idle lord don't slow me down falling down part of the queue don't look back in anger waiting for the rapture little by little

Absolutely not. It could've been made to fit the album, but I don't think it fits on DOYS the way we know it now.
