BWTB,SO,AGN all have great moments, though usually this is confined to a brilliant verse and a subpar chorus or vice versa.
Is it time for Liam to swallow his pride and allow noel to help him polish off his tunes?
Boy With The Blues- Gallagher/Gallagher.........could be mega eh?
A dictionary and Noel Gallagher is what liam needs!

No I don't think so. I agree that the tunes might be better but Liam will improve himself, in his own time (and has from Little James>I'm Outta Time).

I just don't think they can work together like that. They need their own separate parts for a joint venture to work together (i.e. singer and guitarist)

They don't "avoid" each other, but they don't hangout... Would you really want to hangout with your brother who is 5 years younger than you?
And as for the songwriting, they have different styles, it'd be a weird thing if they combined to write a song

I doubt noel has the patience to work with liam. Liam always asks questions and stuff when writing. Noel is different he knows how he wants it. It would be interesting to see but it probably will never happen. Gem's good for Liam cos he has that patience.

Its naive to thing he doesn't.....Noel said that when Soldier on was found there was only one set of lyrics and that was it and they worked on it over night and its fecking amazing......so he obviously had an input and the whole band was involved.....Oasis are an ideas band...the writer has the initial idea and then the rest contribute...which is why I find the whole all songs must be Noel thing is ridiculous  |

You guys need to realise that Noel helps Liam as much as Gem.
Noel arranged the album version of Songbird for instance.
I also think the band work much more together than people think.

Liam just needs to work on his lyrics. His melodies are brilliant most of the time, it just comes naturally to him while the opposite is the case for Andy and Gem. Problem is that his vocabulary is so limited a couple of verses and a chorus is pretty much his limit before he's stuck for ideas. He definitely needs help with the lyrics, as good as IOT is, it could really do with another verse or two.
