that magazine is a bunch of pure shit. Slag them when they do their normal thing, slag them if they try something new, say they are just beatles rip offs. RS sucks on whatever is popular at the time. They enjoy the "indepth" rock of Radiohead. I love how people are staying this album is generic, thats the one thing it is not. The review is full on slagging on how they can't beat the glory days and Noel Gallagher's shamelessness to rip of the beatles. If Oasis didn't have DM and MG has the first two albums everyone would be praising most of their albums. This album for me at least would have to get a 3 outta 5 to be respectable. How is DBTT better than this? DBTT is fucking great but still Dig Out Your Soul just better. ; production, noel's tunes, Liam's voice, Gem tune, ect. all a better i think. Funny how people look at it as a music magazine when its too busy trying to be what's cool; loving the jonas brothers, Barack Obama (i don't want this to get political please), ect.

Sigh (judging by your aim screenname, you live in texas) 2. Rolling Stone writes about what's current. I've never even heard a Jonas Brothers song, but they sold over 500,000 copies of their album in the first week. Thats huge. I think the review sucks as well, but RS writes about whats hip, and Oasis stopped being relevant in America years ago, sadly. Its a shit magazine, so don't let it get you guys down.

please don't tell me you're voting for Obama. RS obviously doesn't know anything about music or politics.

The problem is other than pop-rock and hip stuff that applies to american culture, RS isn't into british bands. even kings of leon who are american but are mainly big in britain don't get half the attention they deserve by RS and the general american press. it's a disgrace.

Nah i'm not from texas. Just a big tracy mcgrady fan lol. I'm not here to state my political thoughts in this topic i'm just saying its "cool" and a majority of youths are for obama. So the RS even though it is a liberal magazine is jumping on these hip things, it sells copies. Whatever its a shit review nontheless

Then do not read it! I know from certain reviewers that they do this often (Porcupine Tree was an example)

We should try and keep the RS review out of the 'Professional Reviews' section on the DOYS-wikipedia page, this is hardly a professional review...
