I'm loving the pianos from Dig Out Your Soul. They add an extra dimension to the songs. For example, listen to The Turning and I'm Outta Time.
I actually love Boy With The Blues, because it's piano driven. If it were just guitars, I would not like it. The tune isn't the great song people thought it was going to be, but that doesn't stop it from being a good tune.
What does everyone else think. I think they should use pianos on their next albums aswell.

It has a piano the whole way through the song and it really carrys the song beautifully. They should use that more often. Here it is if people did'nt hear this:

I like the piano. I'm also friends with the wurlitzer, mellotron, and a couple of synthesizers.

Piano is great. I love it when it is used on oasis songs. One of my favorite bands, Ben Folds Five, the reason why i love them so much is Ben is an amazing pianist and shows that you can rock out on it. Wonderful instrument.

greatest instrument there is IMO. I love how they've always incorporated a piano in their music. I think that's what really made their sound different than all those other 90's alt rock bands. Songs like Live Forever wouldn't have sounded nearly as amazing without a piano. Not to mention the piano at the end of Wonderwall is one of my favorite moments in music EVER...it just melts your ears.

Another thing is oasis does abuse the piano. Its not like in every song nor its it always the main instrument. Its mostly put in a nice neat space on the mixing board, but even when its in the front it sounds great.

Personally think the best use of a Piano is in Falling down, the chemicals remix. That song wouldnt look out of place in the mid-90's house music scene..

Piano, Violin, Acoustic Guitar
my 3 favorite instruments to listen to. None of em are really "solo" instruments like the electric guitar, but they sound beautiful in the background of songs.

I thought for a moment you meant the film.
I like piano, pretty much anywhere. It's like with food. I pretty much eat anything as long as there's melted cheese on it.
