It's already a tradition for the 1st Oasis single to go to no. 1. I mean... f***ing Go Let It Out made it! ? Go Let It Out is a great song

I know this is said a lot but the charts really are a complete irrelevance now. Yes it's still a nice sound byte, and if Pink gets to no.1 it'll give a few naysayers something to snigger at, but essentially it's meaningless now. There's no network programme remotely related to the charts anymore, even the old saturday morning ones are gone. The only thing that's left is the twitching carcass of The Chart Show on Radio 1, I couldn't even tell you who presents that now, it won't be long till that's gone as well.

I live here in the states and already purchased the deluxe version of the new single TSOTL. But I'm not too sure if that counts towards there race to number one. So I considered buying the new single from Itunes unfortuntly Itunes (US) does not sell it. So I bought a copy from amazon.com for ten bucks. I hope that helps. Fuck Pink getting to number one. Comon troops and soldier on for Oasis and get them to were they belong. On top!

current top 5 01 Pink 19.4k 02 Oasis 14.8k 03 Kings Of Leon 04 Sugababes 05 Boyzone 10k? Hopefully it goes higher. I know the charts aren't what they used to be, but Lyla got to #1 with 70k. www.theofficialcharts.com/zoom.php?id=1013

I doubt Pink will get any higher, so we need to take advantage of it. Her single is all over the internet now, it's not going to get up any higher, everyone who'll buy it already has.

It's mostly steaming piles of shit that get to number one - I mean, C'mon! Crazy Frog got to number one! He wouldn't get to number one in the album charts though! I would rather have a number one album than a number one single. Although it would be nice to have Oasis at the top, something good for a change.
