I fear the song won't get to no1 in the UK. Considering the bullshit that Pink has got out, I fear that'll get to No 1 instead of Oasis. She's top of the iTunes chart, while TSOTL is at No 79.
Please please don't let this happen.

I cant even remember the last time I heard it on the radio in the UK, radio stations always play Shes Electric or something when they play Oasis.
No one I know even knows they have a new song out.
I really dont think this will get to number 1

the problem with probably not getting no1 its the poor bside choise, i mean, a remix of another song!
that sucks, thats u2's territory, you're not getting quality for the value
i would not buy it, that's what i think

Yeah it's going to tough this time... the song has been broadcasted over a month and it's coming with only one extra song which was debuted even earlier... that's just bad marketing...

Not, it will get top 10, but not number 1 because of the shitty b side

Official Downloads Sites that are included in the The Official UK Charts Company:
iTunes: 28, 57 7 Digital Media: 2 HMV: 2 (Katy Perry is still #1 there)
I took this list from the old BBC Radio 1 site. It amazes me that out of all the stores that were once having downloads count towards the chart eventually couldn't handle Apple beating them in the end. Like 90% of the sites didn't even exist anymore.
7Digital is the 2nd biggest seller, so if we're getting a #2, that's fine. Don't let it spoil your week, we always come through in the end, On the video side, it's surpassed both Pink and Leona.
They also have a very good position in iTunes since their single is pretty much halfway up the chart in two occasions. If there as only the one bundle, I bet it'd look completely different.
It's only Monday though, so anything is possible, especially since it's already doing well. All the DJs are talking about it, so it'll definitely help to promote it.
It's doing very well in Amazon.co.uk, to be in the bestsellers which is basically albums only. I don't see any other single that's in there at the moment and is ahead of them.

It's 19 and 54 now on the iTunes charts. Bit odd releasing two versions considering you can simply buy the song separately, but whatever. #1 on the HMV singles charts (DOYS is also #1 for pre orders) and still #2 on 7 Digital. Certainly Oasis are a bigger act then Pink in the UK?
And no, it's not going to chart poorly cos of it's bside. Sex On Fire got to #1 with only a live version of a tune as it's bside. However, it is a bit odd that they're releasing it so close to the album.

Pepople would rather wait then get a single..

If anything, they could have released it earlier, cashed in on the single, and go straight through to the album.

Yeah, but Some Might Say was a standalone single. RWI was the first single for Morning Glory.

12 and 61 on iTunes now, so it went up one, probably just people buying the featured version.

Very poorly marketed, and it probably shouldn't get to number one, not with that b-side... and only one b-side at that! I miss the good old days...

Anyone up for a bet? I know the statistics you present at the moment don't look too good for Oasis, but I'd be ready to bet a hundred pounds it's gonna make #1. It's already a tradition for the 1st Oasis single to go to no. 1. I mean... f***ing Go Let It Out made it!
