He's on the phone with Chris Moyles now, oh I can't WAIT FOR THIS!!!! They're having a huge orchestra, MEGA!!!! They're doing 6 or 7 songs off the new album!!!! They'll be playing all the hits, except the ones Liam doesn't like.
Ahhh, and he wants to do "This Guy's In Love With You" again, what an amazing guy, hasn't changed one bit!
From 9 PM the last day!

I love The Electric Proms, it really is something. They basically get the really good indie/different/best bands and they put them with a choir or some amazing type of thing (listened to the one where The Good, The Bad, and The Queen debuted). It's a very private concert with loads of different acts. It's a very good listen, you don't get all that pop stuff, but rather more alternative bands.

Fucking great! Definitely marking this on the calender. ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png) I doubt they'll play Round Are Way or All Around The World (would fucking love to hear that though). Hopefully SCYHO though and hopefully they play DLBIA full electric with the orchestra. That would be brilliant! ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png) And man, imagine The Turning with a full orchestra! ![:D](//storage.proboards.com/1258801/images/7QKGdm487eYnX65W8w0g.gif) And they got Burt Bacharach performing on Oct. 22nd, maybe a duet with Noel? ![:D](//storage.proboards.com/1258801/images/7QKGdm487eYnX65W8w0g.gif)

I'd pay millions to see that!

Yep, I love Noels cover of This Guy's In Love With you! Definitely the most un-"Oasis" song so to speak. I'd love to hear a revised version it. Especially now, because Noels gotten a thousand times better vocalist than he was back in '94.

The woman would be all over him.

I believe Oasisinet just posted this: Oasis to headline final day of BBC Electric Proms 29 September 2008 Oasis will be headlining and closing this year's BBC Electric Proms. The band will play at The Roundhouse in London on Sunday 26th October. The gig is set to be a special one with Oasis being accompanied by the Crouch End Festival Chorus. Noel had this to say about the gig, “We are doing the Electric Proms, and we're doing it with the Crouch End Choir as well... there's 50 odd of them...because some of the songs on the album have got a 50 piece choir on them. So we're gonna do a night at the Proms with that lot, it should be good actually… Ennio Morricone uses them for his spaghetti western stuff in England, so I’m already looking forward to that because I’ve never played the Roundhouse and I’ve never done the Proms.” The Oasis performance will be broadcast on BBC Radio 1 from 9pm on 26th October, and on BBC2 at 22:45pm on the same day. Fans outside the UK can watch the performance for a week after the festival along with photos and interviews at www.bbc.co.uk/electricpromsTickets will go on sale at 8.15am on Tuesday September 30th. For more info, go to www.bbc.co.uk/electricproms for details.

Anyone able to record the BBC footage?
The Who played this last year & that was mega, over the few years this has been running, it is pretty special. Kinda like a MTV Unplugged vibe, with Liam & a Choir it should be amazin!!

Sorry for coming off as a naive American, but is there like a house orchestra or something? Yeah, there is. Kasabian and The Coral did it last year and sounded amazing. ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png)

It should be pointed out - the BBC orchestra is available to all acts during these shows but there's no guarantee Oasis would use them - The Who were string-less for their show in 2006 (though Macca put them to great use in 2007... Calico Skies was incredible).
