So during the French radio interview, Andy said they had 15 songs. Noel picked the 12 best and they recorded those songs. We already know the 11 on the album, plus I believe in all and BWTB, so what are the other 2 songs?
Plus, i get the feeling that there will be no new b-sides. I think the b-sides will just be songs that were on the bonus disk.
What do you guys think?

It would be lazy to put the bonus songs on the singles as b-sides but i wouldn't be surprised at all.

I have the same feeling - no original B-Sides
All the B-Sides will be remixes, demos or live tracks. I don't even think there will be any demos of songs not on the album. So you wont have any original new songs for any of the singles. Ashame really as much as i like hearing the demo versions especially.

I'd be disappointed if there were no new b-sides. I mean, wait three years for thirteen new songs. Lame.

Single are not the big deal they used to be, sadly. Once band had to appeal people to buy the single cd, now - at least in Italy - a lot of italians artists don't do single cd at all, they just put out the digital version.

At this point, I wouldnt mind if STC or RM is a B-side, even though they should be properly released on an album, I just wanna hear these songs in final form now!

I think the other one was the previously mentioned 'Come On, It's Alright', which Noel wrote during the period he wrote TSOTL and FD. Andy claims it was intended to be the first single. If it's single quality, THEN I WANT TO HEAR IT NOW!

I think it's almost time Oasis release a double-album. I mean with 4 of them now writing, how hard would that be?

THe reason for less B-sides and less quality output is directly related to Noel writing less and less and arguably his songwriting quality has gone down.

Not being greedy like loudmouth pointed, but I agree in saying I really really hope they give us some new B-sides. Those gems are always atop my lists. I'm thinking whatever they release 3rd will have a chance for a new B-Side, but not until then.

Yeah, I don't think there will be brilliant B-sides this time... It seems that they are running out of ideas. For the first time on an Oasis single, I see a remix (TSOTL single).

The whole singles market has changed for the worse.
I used to love the old Oasis single releases because you'd know what you'd get.
1. Single 2. Kick Ass Full Band Song 3. Kick Ass Noel Song 4. Live Song
But that died in 1999 because 4 songs on a CD was no longer classified as a single and couldn't chart in the singles charts. So then it became a 3 track single.
1. Single 2. Full Band/Noel Kick Ass Song/Live Song 3. Full Band/Noel Kick Ass Song/Live Song
...and now unfortunately with iTunes and the digital singles market we get:
1. Single 2. Chemical Brothers Remix
Here's hoping something changes for the next "single" release...
