the US leg of the tour... The Counting Crows love Oasis . They talk about them all the time. They do an amazing accoustic cover of cig. and alcohol....Also a piano version of Live Forever. They would be a great opening act here in America. They have a big name here , also from the way they talk it would not be beneath them to open for Oasis.... Anyone else like the idea?

Yeah Ill get it done lol.....In all seriousness they should make some annoucements on opening acts and tour dates soon. I have a feeling they will try to get a decently big band to open such as Jet last time. The Redwalls were good , but no one had a clue who they were and they mostly played small venues on that leg .

My friends and I always talk about the Counting Crows opening for Oasis. It would be awesome. They're a great band and they love Oasis. Plus, it would bring a lot of people to the shows.
I think this was brought up not too long ago, but regardless, it would be a great idea . . .

I'd like them to take The View to America and tour with them.

Manic Street Preachers
cause I think that's the only way they'd ever play in the US again.
