To early to tell right now with Chris Sharrock. I always liked Zak. And Alan. I really dont know who to vote for......But Alans drumming was superb. His drumming on Wonderwall for instance is great.

McCarroll. His finest hour was probably Some Might Say.

Alan White, until he got bored. Haha, until he got sacked. Great drummer though!

McCarroll. His finest hour was probably Some Might Say. I heard that Noel re-recorded all of the drumming for Definately Maybe as he felt McCarrolls was too poor I'd prefer Starkey all the way, however for the time he was in the band, it has to be White.

alan white had the most catchy and recognizable beats. when he started drumming for supersonic from 1995-2002 crowds went wild.
zak was rather good on DOYS but i think whitey could have taken the groove on it to the next level..

Alan definitely fit the band best, though Sharrock may give him some competition (need to hear more boots from the current tour). But you can't help but look at all of the classic tunes Alan played on and how he stuck through in the hard times.

i think zak might have beaten alan to the post IF he had recorded on the past albums though i do love the drums on DBTT and DOYS. BUT he was playing alan whites stuff. as for tony mccarrol alan white played his stuff better then he did. and Chris Sharock who knows. But its alan white for me

Alan without a doubt. It's a shame that Zak was only around for 3 years, kinda gutted that he's not drumming live for the tour seeing as he did play the drums on the album, nothin against sharrock, he seems to be doing well...
..perhaps the reason Zak had a tiff with Noel and left the band was due to the MASSIVE LENGTH of this tour, 18 months is quite a long time and perhaps Zak couldn't commit himself to it, I mean he missed most of the recording sessions for The Who's last album due to being on tour with Oasis and maybe he wanted to balance it up a bit rather than commit to Oasis.
What you recon??

Alan White. The man was behind the kit for Morning Glory. That's good enough for me.
